key Responsibilities:
- Enhance and Automate the cashflow forecast models
- Constantly work on Improving the Cashflow report for better business visibility
- Work with other teams across the Company to implement and improve the existing reports
- Grow knowledge of the energy market data we use and take ownership of explaining and resolving the variances in reporting
- For all electricity and Gas markets in US and CA, reconcile all vendor invoices with agreed terms and usage.
- Use technology or new processes to reduce manual time needed to perform scheduled tasks
- Support month end close gross margin and related reporting
- Interaction with counterparties directly on any issues pertaining settlements.
- Verbal and written communication with counterparties and stakeholders
- Various ad-hoc tasks as requested by Manager
- Support internal and external audit requests
Qualification:
- 5 to 8 years of experience in Finance, data analysis or MIS reporting
- Graduate degree in Finance/Engineering/Maths/Science/Business discipline
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong excel skills including usage of advanced formulas is a must.
- Able to work with large data sets and create information from data
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Detail oriented and proactive in their responsibilities
- Ability to work independently as well as function effectively in a team environment
- Willingness to take More responsibilities, ownership, initiatives
Technology/Business Requirements:
- Advanced Microsoft Excel experience
- Basic to Moderate SQL experience
- Working experience in energy sector is preferred but not mandatory.
