Your Responsibilities
As a Data Wrangler for John Deere World Headquarters located in Moline, IL you will focus on workforce data, including efficiently retrieving and packaging data for end user consumption. This role works within a team of data professionals with a primary focus on structured data. This role ensures that source data is meaningful and valid for use in analytics and reporting. Supports ad hoc report requests and identifies data quality issues. In addition, you will:
- Locate, acquire, blend and format data to support reporting and descriptive analytics needs.
- Complete data requests within committed timeframes and service level agreements.
- Organize acquired data to remove quality issues and provide relevant information.
- Consult with others as a subject matter expert on workforce data availability, accessibility and usage.
- Provide customer support and effective communications that generates a high level of satisfaction for a global audience of customers.

What Skills You Need
- Demonstrated skills with data gathering and data analytics
- Robust personal communication skills – both written and verbal
- Experience with Excel
- Experience reviewing, investigating and testing data issues and implementing solutions
- Proven experience designing with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI
- Knowledge of data governance and data management practices
- Experience working with large volumes of data
- High level of personal integrity and ability to professionally handle highly confidential data
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities and concurrent tasks
What Makes You Stand Out
- Experience working with SAP/SuccessFactors data
- Experience with Alteryx
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (SQL, Python, R)
- Experience with workforce data
- Experience with Databricks
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Degree in an Information Technology discipline or equivalent experience. – University Degree (4 years or equivalent)
- Degree in Data Science discipline or equivalent experience. – University Degree (4 years or equivalent)
