Job Location: Tempe, AZ
The Card lending Services (CLS) team includes operational functions core to the on-boarding of new customers. The Business Analyst Associate I (BA) is responsible for operational readiness within CLS and is required to obtain deep process knowledge and expertise. They will be responsible for the recertification of specialist facing materials including procedures and intranet content. The OA I will assist the business with the assessment of new initiatives to determine areas of impact, resource needs, requirements and detailed impacts to deliver a seamless implementation. They will partner with Marketing, Risk, internal Strategy and Implementation teams and Operational areas to ensure requests and business initiatives are aligned to target state. In this role, the BA I will manage or support strategic projects, ensuring that necessary actions required to implement changes are completed on time and with quality. The position requires strong business knowledge, and a project management skillset with focus on written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal effectiveness with the ability to collaborate and work well with all levels of management and across organizational boundaries is critical.
Skills / Experience Needed:
- Bachelor’s degree, or greater education preferred
- Strong project management and organizational skills
o Has experience in leading process improvement and change management initiatives
o Possesses ability to problem solve and conduct root cause analysis to understand the essence of issues and ability to identify solutions
o Analyzes and applies policy requirements to existing proposed procedures and processes
o Identifies opportunities and provide recommendations to improve the process
o Provides recommendations to develop or enhance controls
o Has strong understanding of process map creation and modification requirements
- Building relationships and using influence
o Self-evident interpersonal skills with the proven ability to influence and achieve alignment across a range of different opinions and interests
o Is an excellent communicator, able to facilitate large forum meetings
o Drives to consensus within an organization of diverse operational activities

o Possesses high levels of energy and endurance

o Proficient in MS Office applications
- A minimum of 5 years related experience, credit card preferred
