Johnson & Johnson is currently recruiting a Data and Analytics Integration Engineer to support the Consumer Health Business. The position will be located in India.

A true leadership role—of people and thought, this role demands expertise in a broad array of system integration technologies and also nuanced people skills to continue learning, influencing, supporting and driving critical business change through technical execution. We are looking for someone with a strong background and expertise in Supply Chain processes and functional integrations (a leader in end-to-end supply chain patterns as well). This role will involve development of prototypes to play out scenarios that evolve our IT applications supporting supply chain processes; this will help us define target state application integration architecture end-to-end.

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Consumer Health business to create a new publicly traded company. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 24 months, and it will be subject to legal requirements including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as required, and other customary conditions and approvals.

It is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, this position may be conveyed with New Consumer Health. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to the successful candidate by New Consumer Health at an appropriate time and would be subject to any necessary consultation processes.

Responsibilities:

• Work with business and technology partners to identify business priorities and product needs
• Lead a global team of platform & product owners, technical experts, & other specialists to deliver integration solutions, & shaping the organization’s use of integration technologies and approaches to optimize our investments
• Engage necessary and appropriate resources across product lines and shared services per solution blueprint and align IT capacity with top business priorities
• Deliver projects aligned to the integration strategy vision, goals and business value, monitoring the progress of program components to ensure overall goals, schedule, budget, and benefits of the program are achieved and alignment with J&J processes and standards.
• Work with the Director of Integration Platforms and Ops to craft an integration strategy to address immediate challenges, simplify integration landscape, utilize common patterns and standard technologies
• Align business partners and development teams around common measurable product goals, and engage the business in the product development process
• Implement a hybrid integration platform addressing data and application integration needs, and cloud-to-cloud, cloud-to-on-premise, and on-premise-to-on-premise scenarios
• Build & deploy a framework to ensure rigorous & responsive demand governance for Integration investments that prioritizes the highest value opportunities
• Define development guidelines and standards to be utilized in application development and integration.
• Continuously search for ways to eliminate redundancies & inefficiencies while streamlining costs to reinvest in new innovations through technology lifecycle management & total cost of ownership
• Drive innovation & thought leadership by anticipating & responding to rapidly changing industry trends, translating relevant insights into solutions that add new value
• Forge trusted partnerships with external partners, other JJT integration practitioners & data scientists across the business sectors & the enterprise, taking advantage of our collective expertise to deliver the best solutions

• BA/BS degree (preferably in information technology or a related technical field)
• 8+ years of Information Technology experience, ideal if Supply Chain and/or software development experience
• 5+ years of experience leading application integration programs, initiatives and teams in heterogeneous application environments
• Implementation experience with microservices, API and composable architecture
• Implementation experience with multi-cloud, mobile, containers, servers and database management
• Implementation experience with Data Warehouses, Data Lakes and Data Hubs.
• Implementation experience building native integrations to SaaS and PaaS platforms, such as Workday, SFDC, SAP, etc.
• Experience with core analytics tools like Qlik, Tableau, Informatica & Alteryx to cloud computing platforms like Teradata, Cloudera, AWS, Azure.
• Experience with API based integrations, including REST, SOAP, etc.
• In-depth knowledge of integration patterns, methods and technologies such as ETL, message-oriented middleware, event-driven integration, APIs, web services and microservices
• Experience integrating cloud-to-cloud, cloud-to-on-premise and on-premise-to-on-premise solutions
• ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) experience
• Experience in all phases of an established SDLC and/or AGILE methodologies
• Experience applying concepts of Agile solutioning to rapidly deliver value through user design, prototyping, Minimal Viable Product & continuous improvement.

Preferred:

• Master’s degree /MBA
• 5+ years of technology strategy development
• Experience with iPaaS platforms
• Experience managing and directing multiple engagements developing key architecture artifacts and standards while following an architecture development processes
• Experience with relational databases, data warehouses, operational data stores, in-memory databases, SQL and noSQL technologies and concepts
• Experience with Informatica ETL, WebMethods, Mulesoft and Apigee
• Experience with iPaaS platforms
• Experience with DevOps CI/CD tools and best practices
• Architecture and application lifecycle management methodologies experience
• Experience in information-intensive industries or digitally advanced enterprises
• Demonstrated strength in examining issues, crafting strategy & influencing effectively across the organization, driving people, process & technology change
• Ability to translate vision to strategy to roadmap; Balances discovery & delivery; Anticipate future needs & improve product features; Ensure products/solutions meet service level expectations.
• Effective interpersonal & communication skills (oral & written), including the ability to explain digital concepts & technologies to business leaders, as well as business concepts to technologists.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large team across business & technical areas. Ability to succeed in a matrixed environment & influence adoption of new thinking
