The CCB Data & Analytics Team responsibly leverages data to build competitive advantages for our businesses with value and protection for customers. The team encompasses a variety of disciplines, from data governance and data strategy/partnerships to reporting, data science and machine learning, and are actively engaged in driving impact through Sales and Marketing transformation. We are seeking a Finance and Business Management Lead for CCB’s Data & Analytics organization. This individual will partner closely with the Chief Data & Analytics Officer to drive strategies that optimize the impact of the organization to the firm. The emphasis will be on strong partnership, superior thought leadership, and will require exceptional ability to influence, challenge, and ultimately drive structured recommendations for senior leadership.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Direct oversight of the budget and management of performance versus plan
  • Manage and support financial reporting and expense management, provide insights and drive organizational efficiencies and ad-hoc strategic projects
  • Provide support to the Data & Analytics Executives on investment decisions, business cases, headcount management, and location strategy
  • Create business cases valuing the utilization of machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies
  • Manage strategy and execution function – accountable for providing transparency, reporting on the value created by the team as well as supporting the Data & Analytics leadership on prioritization of how to invest the next dollar of analytics resources
  • Support preparation for business reviews and other key meetings, as well as speaking engagements as needed
  • Partner with technology team to drive coordinated prioritization of investment dollars – including partnering with Agile Product Owners and General Managers to ensure their respective Books of Work are prioritized to drive strategic initiatives and efficiencies
  • Attract, retain and develop a team of world class finance professionals

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field required
  • 10+ years of finance, business management, consulting or technology project management experience with a proven record of high performance
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to comprehend and explain data / concepts in a clear and concise manner
  • Experience in and familiarity with Data & Analytics concepts, including the management, governance and use of data to drive business value, advanced analytics tools (e.g., Python, Alteryx, Tableau), and Big Data Architecture is a plus
  • Experience with Agile and product concepts is critical, particularly with regard to measuring and evaluating OKRs, as well as project management and execution
  • Detail-oriented, high degree of organizational capability and diligence to work on multiple deliverables simultaneously
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional partners and engage with senior leaders
  • Exceptional presentation and oral/written communication skills
  • Highly motivated, confident, self-starter and team player with strong problem solving skills
