Global Finance & Business Management (“GF&BM”) India is a combined LOB-aligned (Line of Business-aligned) finance & business support team located in India and is part of JPMorgan’s global capability center (GCC). We are part of the Office of the CFO (OCFO) organization within JPMorgan, which has 13000+ people across the globe, majority of whom are tasked with managing the firm’s Finance function, responsible for reporting quarterly earnings and complying with regulatory requirements along with managing the firm’s capital.

GF&BM India was established in September 2002 and currently we have a network of more than 3400+ professionals based out of our Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad offices who support four main “pillars” of work – Controllers, Planning & Analysis, Finance Operations and Business Client & Products. The teams in India are aligned to the respective LOBs that they support which include Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB), Commercial Banking (CB), Consumer and Community Banking (CCB), Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) and Corporate/Firmwide functions.

Our Consumer & Community Banking division serves our Chase customers through a range of financial services, including personal banking, credit cards, mortgages, auto financing, investment advice, small business loans and payment processing. Global Finance & Business Management works to strategically manage capital, drive growth and efficiencies, maintain financial reporting and proactively manage risk. By providing information, analysis and recommendations to improve results and drive decisions, teams ensure the company can navigate all types of market conditions while protecting our fortress balance sheet.

Analyst is a member of the Cards Finance team. Team serves as a strategic analytical resource to help senior executives understand, manage, forecast and plan the market acceptance of offers impacting the financial profitability of the business. The group is responsible for managing the quarterly forecast of the all card protfolios which helps support decision to the Cards leadership team.

Analyst will help support the below listed:

• Strong quantitative, critical thinking and analytic skills excellent quantitative and analytical problem-solving skills, confidence with finance and accounting concepts, has the ability to comprehend and clearly communicate complex concepts in a fast- paced, dynamic environment
• Proactively analyze trends, research issues, and respond to inquiries
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all reporting and forecasting
• Work closely with other CFO teams, CCB Tech team, and the Cards business leadership
• Independently manage different cross functional ad-hoc projects
• Analyze test and performance sets using SAS & statistical techniques
• Evaluate portfolio performance and riskiness for the cards products
• Strong programming skills in SAS (Base, Macro), SQL, VBA
• Working knowledge of Alteryx, Tableau and Python will be an added advantage
• Ability to support cross functional teams and influence a range of stakeholders
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint/PitchPro, Essbase

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or other related majors
• 3+ years in Finance/Accounting, management consulting or other financial/analytic roles
• Strong judgment, professional maturity, personal integrity, strong work ethic, proactive and results-oriented, fact based, has the courage to ask the tough questions and challenge the status quo and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
