Job Location: Edgewood, MD

Kalman & Company, Inc. is seeking a Share Point Support Analyst for an opportunity in support of the Joint Project Manager Sensors Office in Edgewood, MD.

  • Serve as the Sensors SharePoint administrator, providing oversight and daily management for five diverse SharePoint sites which support the Sensors Headquarters (HQ) staff and five distinct Product Offices.
  • Manage, administer, and maintain the SharePoint sites, responsible for the following day-to-day activities:
    o Granting and managing user requests and permissions
    o Building user groups
    o Executing a process to migrate and archive legacy program information and other shared electronic files
    o Creating indexes for easy retrieval
    o Providing user training
    o Maintaining standard operating procedures and user guides
    o Updating contact information for personnel within the organization
    o Add new files and links as needed
    o Maintaining up-to-date user access, contact information, user guides, and files
  • Develop administration techniques and business forms within the SharePoint 2019 Portal.
  • Participate in and/or lead reoccurring IPTs/meetings with senior leadership and/or the Product Offices’ SharePoint leads to discuss the most efficient ways to migrate multiple SharePoint environments.
  • Design and develop solutions to address business needs and opportunities, and propose changes that would make the SharePoint environment a more effective solution.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for the development of web parts and console applications used to support Sensors customers within the SharePoint environment.
  • Leverage MS Power Platform to create applications and workflows to improve business processes throughout the organization.
  • Attend IPTs pertaining to the upcoming migration to SharePoint Online and relay timelines, issues, and capabilities to senior staff.
  • Lead a business information management process that allows users to quickly adapt to changes within the SharePoint portal, both planned and unplanned.
  • Monitor, analyze, and respond to user and system problems.
  • Develop, implement, and update the Sensors education program for data management to provide information, training, and assistance to users.
  • Provide technical assistance to users accessing the cost, schedule, and performance tools, as well as general navigation within the ever-changing Sensors SharePoint portal.
  • Evaluate system capacity, planning, and coordinating for future data management system developments, expansion, and upgrades.
  • Facilitate development of the Sensors Website/Homepage to increase exposure to external organizations, promoting the Sensors mission and providing links to all Sensors sections, events, and documents.
  • Prepare briefings, decision documentation, and program information to support internal and external communications.
  • Meet assigned deadlines.
  • Must Hold an Active Secret Security Clearance
  • US Citizenship is required
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience, 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with SharePoint 2019 or SharePoint Online (at least 3 years’ experience hands-on) and at least one year experience as an Administrator
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of software, with specific experience in effective use of Outlook, Teams, One Drive, PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, and Word
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform to include Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
