Monitor: Highly secure technologies. Workflow, identify security threats and
Vulnerabilities, infrastructure, Focus area projects
Lead/Team Role: Lead IT area workgroups. Participate
on technology related teams to advance technology. Chair technology related committees involving IT & functional staff.
- Application Analyst โ Analyze and document reporting and analytics requirements
- Application Analyst โ Work with various constituencies to research, make recommendations, and create data mining and analytics architectures, coding standards, statistical reporting, data analysis methodologies, and governance strategies
- Application Analyst โ Assist in the development of data management policies and procedures
- Application Analyst โ Train stakeholders on how to effectively access and use reports and analytics tools
- Application Analyst โ Interact with IT management regarding work assignments.
- Application Analyst โ Work with various constituencies to design, develop, and document electronic forms and workflows for business process improvement
- Application Developer โ Write, test, debug, document, deploy, and maintain detailed programs and processes
- Application Developer- Create informative visualizations that intuitively display large amounts of multidimensional data and/or complex relationships
- Other duties as assigned that are pertinent to the goals and mission of the department and the college.
- Bachelors degree in related field
- Bachelorโs degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Information Systems.
- Experience with PeopleSoft ERP/EPM systems and technologies including PS Query Manager, Oracle SQL Developer, and Oracle OBIEE.
- Experience with web form and business logic workflow creation (PeopleSoft eForms & Workflow preferred).
- Experience with Business Intelligence Software such as PowerBI, WebFOCUS, SQL, Excel, and other standard reporting tools.
- Experience in a data engineer, data analyst, or data scientist role and/or with data visualization techniques using reporting tools such as Power BI.
- Experience with UI/UX development as it pertains to data visualization and user dashboards for data reporting.
- Experience with data pipeline tools, including ETL tools for moving data between systems.
