RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Lead Product Manager, Analytics in San Francisco, CA.

Overview:
You will be part of the Supply Chain Product Management team responsible for delivering strategic solutions to drive value to our business partners and organization. Our job is to ensure that we deliver quality IT initiatives that exceed the expectations of our customers and provide a return on our technology investment.

In this role, the Lead Product Manager will consult and work with the business stakeholders, project managers, architects, development teams, and others to gather and define, then develop and document client requirements as both functional specifications then translate them to technical requirements to ensure successful deployment of deliverables. Our ideal candidate has a technical understanding of systems and applications.

The right candidate is passionate about building great customer experiences, has an analytical mindset, and is familiar with software development processes. The candidate will have technical aptitude, a strong sense of ownership, and an excellent communication style across different audiences.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years of Product Management or BA/BSA experience in a technology organization
  • Day to day experience with working within an agile environment, working with business stakeholders, gathering requirements, working with development teams
  • Domain expertise with data and analytics – ideally in a supply chain environment
  • Working within a data platform team doing analytics, or other quantitative role
  • Experience with visualization tools including Power BI, Tableau, and MicroStrategy
  • Experience with data warehousing, BI Tools, and metadata management, including data catalog software
  • Product experience working within a Data platform team doing data analytics, consulting, or other quantitative role
  • You identify as a product person and are passionate about building great customer experiences
  • You are well-versed in the evolution and emerging trends of digital shopping experiences
  • You have a proven ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage tradeoffs and evaluate new ideas with partners across the organization
  • You have good communication skills
  • You have a point-of-view about how technology teams should engage to iteratively deliver value for the customer (ideally with Agile methodologies)
  • You have strong analytical abilities and interest to use data and metrics to back up recommendations, prioritization, and drive actions
  • You have a strong drive towards execution; you’re a can-do type of person and willing to roll up your sleeves to get the job done
  • You have strong social skills and show the ability to work with different teams harmoniously
