In a time of unprecedented expansion, we are seeking a Financial Analyst (Level 1)
to support our growing Financial Planning and Analysis team. In this position, you will work closely with our Direction of Financial Planning & Analysis to create and track performance-driven compensation models, support revenue and business metric reporting, assist in budgeting and evaluate the effectiveness of Lakeshore’s key performance indicators. The role also requires preparing sales incentive and commission statements, as well as assisting in realigning sales territories. The ideal candidate is proficient in Microsoft Excel as well as SQL, with competency in handling and verifying the integrity of large datasets. This position is a great fit for analytical candidates who possess strong critical-thinking skills and a growth mindset. A day in the office looks like this:

  • Producing weekly, monthly and quarterly revenue reports
  • Ensuring accuracy of sales incentive and commission reports
  • Supporting updates of sales incentive and commission structures
  • Reporting on budget vs. actual (BVA) variances and key metrics of various business areas
  • Participating in the analysis and research of BVA variances and anomalies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Finance, Economics, Business or Statistics
  • Aptitude in using analytics tools and business intelligence software such as QlikView and Tableau
  • Sharp attention to details, logic and accuracy; knack for problem-solving
  • Drive to learn and master new technologies, analytical concepts and data-mining techniques
  • Ability to work effectively with legacy systems that are integrated with more modern systems
