Atlas Data Lake and Application Development Engineer . Atlas is an integral part of the Data and Engineering and plays a critical role in the design, implementation and administration of the Firm’s strategy and technology processes around data and reporting with the Firm. We partner across businesses and locations to develop and deliver strategic and competitive solutions. The candidate will be responsible for assisting in the design, development and implementation of financial applications (specifically around Treasury Domain) and Realtime Reporting Tools Additionally the will be able to work on the Atlas Data Lake Self Service Tools Platform providing technical tools, automation and enhanced features to The candidate will be part of all delivery phases of variety of projects within Data Lake across different business lines.
Backend Candidates
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a related discipline.
3+ years Full stack Development experience in Python
PLUS – 1+ Year Experience in building applications in VueJS or ReactJS
PLUS – 1+ Year Knowledge or experience in leveraging JQuery, JavaScript, HTML5
Experience in Python and related open source modules
Experience in Python development including Web application frameworks such as Flask Restful
Experience working with RESTful API Services / FastAPI
Experience and understanding of relational database and understanding of Object Oriented databases and SQL
Knowledge of open source solutions and trending technologies
Understanding of Object Oriented Programming and Design Patterns
Good communication and written skills
An ability to be self-sufficient and proactive individual contributor
For all – Desirable
Strong understanding of web standards, security, accessibility, browser compatibility
Some working knowledge of UNIX Experience in a Business Intelligence tool e.g. Tableau and Dremio
