The Office of Digital Transformation at Lam Research is responsible for the creation of next generation business process and accelerated adoption of technology across the company. The Digital Transformation, Senior Manager/Director, Global Operations is a unique opportunity to transform a market leading semiconductor company to scale for past and future growth at an unprecedented time in our industry.
- Transform the way Lam uses digital tools and systems to better enable our operations, giving our employees better tools and data for maximum efficiency
- Working as a partner to lead transformation projects and collaborating with functional/cross functional teams, business teams and external suppliers/vendors as needed
- Driving business change with departmental leaders through employees, enhanced process, and systems
- Cultural change agent in the company to drive transformation and continuous improvement
- Re imagine processes to streamline and drive efficiencies
- Develop digital tools to enable streamlined process and connectivity
- Enable new business models to drive new revenue streams
- Increase customer value through better outcomes
- Participate in team problem solving efforts and offer ideas to solve issues
- Provide financial analysis/budget formulation to support on transformation initiatives
- Conduct analysis on large data sets to support recommendations
- Maintain responsibility for completion and accuracy of work products
- Conduct relevant research, data analysis, and create reports
- Drive the transformation of automation and connectivity capabilities and processes required by Manufacturing. Drive assessing requirements across multiple manufacturing sites and influencing alignment and commonality
- Lead, stand up and coordinate capability and pilot demonstrations that advance tools for
- Automation, PLM, Digital Twin/Simulation and Equipment and Data connectivity
- Storyteller with an ability to drive organizational change management
- Consistently shows exponential thinking and incremental execution
- Understanding of best practices in the industry and application to real life
- Proficient knowledge of the systems implementation and development life cycles
- Deep understanding of cross functional business processes and connectivity
- Bachelorโs Degree in Business, Computer Science, Math, Statistics, or related field. MBA or masterโs preferred but not required.
- 8+ years of proven experience in operations consulting, strong knowledge of operational processes, systems and tools, and improvement initiatives including experience in process digitalization and digital transformation in leading/fast growth companies
- Experience in market analytics for new tools and process improvements for complex, high growth companies
- Demonstrates a growth mindset and has an eye to the art of the possible
- Influences and drives change by driving partnerships and alignment across the orgs
- A strong working knowledge and point of view on the evolving concepts and practices for resilient & autonomous supply chains and end-to-end supply chain visibility
- Continuous improvement, analytical mindset, and project leading experience (Lean, Six Sigma, A3 type methodologies and certifications in at least one problem solving methodologies)
- Understanding of how to analyze and interpret large data sets and tell story through data summaries
- Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge across supply chain domains (S&OP, Forecasting/Demand Planning, Supply/Production Planning, Procurement, Global Trade Optimization (GTO), Warehouse Management, Logistics with expertise in at least one domain
- Deep understanding of Pilot manufacturing and high-volume manufacturing
- Expertise in MBD/MBE and virtual manufacturing to drive time to market and value engineering
- Knowledge of MES processes and systems and ability to connect to broader supply chain processes to streamline and scale manufacturing
- Deep knowledge of quality and how quality and manufacturing processes mesh
- Manufacturing or Engineering management experience in a large, high volume manufacturing facility
- Industrial Maintenance management experience in a large, high volume manufacturing facility
- Experience specifying, bidding, and ramping up industrial automation in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Strong program management/project leadership experience. Experience as a program manager leading an initiative over a broad geographic area responsible for driving innovation and technological solutions
- Must have experience managing multiple projects and working on and/or leading multi[1]disciplined teams or workgroups
- Must have project management experience to include planning, budgeting, supplier negotiations, equipment layout and implementation, and communicating with internal customers
- Must be able to work with minimal direct guidance or direction from others
- Experience in consulting firm
- Experience in Operations/Supply Chain/Manufacturing
- Experience in high growth, complex companies
- AI-Machine Learning concepts and experience with ML technology
- Experience with SAP preferred or other ERP
- Experience with lean transformations in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Previous experience leading strategic factory digital transformation programs in a broad geographic area
