Job Summary
As a Trainee Machine Learning Engineer, you will assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining machine learning models. You will work closely with senior engineers on various projects, contributing to data preparation, model training, and evaluation. This role is designed for individuals who are eager to learn and apply their knowledge in real-world scenarios.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of machine learning models for various projects.
- Experiment with different algorithms and techniques to improve model performance.
- Collect, clean, and pre process data for machine learning tasks.
- Assist in data analysis and visualization to uncover insights and patterns.
- Train machine learning models on prepared datasets.
- Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and improve accuracy through iterative testing.
- Work closely with senior engineers and data scientists to develop innovative machine-learning solutions.
- Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and project planning sessions.
- Document the machine learning processes, models, and experiments.
- Prepare reports and presentations on project progress and outcomes.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in machine learning and artificial intelligence.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills.
Requirements
Candidate Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- 6 months to 1 year of practical experience in machine learning.
- Proficiency in Python, with expertise in libraries such as TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, or sci-kit-learn.
- Experience in handling large datasets and using data manipulation tools like pandas and NumPy.
- Knowledge of supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms, including regression, classification, clustering, and neural networks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good written and verbal communication skills to articulate technical concepts and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
- Understanding of deployment frameworks and tools for machine learning models.
- Previous internship or project experience in a relevant field.
