At Light & Wonder, you’ll work closely with a mentor as well as the Data & Analytics team, assisting in the curation of data to ensure it can be properly used for downstream analytics.
This is a paid internships that is designed to be long-term engagement, with flexible scheduling to allow for school commitments. The internship is part-time and will offer 29 hours or less per week for at least 6 months, with no fixed upper limit on how long an internship can last.
- This position is open to candidates in Las Vegas for a hybrid work model at our headquarters or open to Remote – Reno and Remote- Chicago. The target start date is May 15th, 2023.
Responsibilities:
- Learn how data is sourced, extracted, loaded, and transformed/cleansed at Light & Wonder
- Participate in the cleansing process as a curator of data.
- See how curated data gets leveraged in downstream reporting for the business.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- No industry experience required.
Education:
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Data and Analytics or related field.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Enjoy working in with data.
- Have excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.
- Familiarity with Excel (SQL is a Plus)
