The Real-time Transfer Service (RTS) team is growing, and we are looking for Systems Engineers who enjoy digging into the capabilities of a system, putting the pieces of a capability and the overall system together, and figuring out how the different pieces interact and work to form a fully functioning capability and satellite ground system.

We are looking for someone who likes to solve problems, get their hands dirty troubleshooting and getting into the guts of the system, and taking on all challenges.

The RTS program has a consistent pipeline of work and a variety of technical opportunities and challenges.

Basic Qualifications:

• Strong interest and/or experience in satellite ground system with some software design
• Experience working in a Linux OS environment
• Some programming experience desired such as Python or C++
• Experience developing maintainable code as well as performing unit, integration, and regression testing

Desired Skills:

• Experience and ability to learn Systems and Software Design principles and the execution of System Engineering tasks for complex systems
• Growth mindset and willingness to take on challenging tasks that will stretch your current capabilities
• Ability to Demonstrated understanding of agile development within a scrum team.
• Experience with and ability to learn SW Dev tools such as Python, GitLab CI, etc
