Advanced Electronic Warfare (EW) capabilities enable F-35 pilots to locate and track the enemy, jam radars and confuse enemy attacks with excellent effectiveness. Advanced avionics give the pilot real-time access to battle space information with 360-degree coverage and an ability to control the tactical environment. Data collected by sensors on the F-35 will immediately be shared with commanders at sea, in the air or on the ground, providing an instantaneous, high-fidelity view of ongoing operations – making the F-35 a formidable force multiplier while enhancing coalition operations. This system allows F-35 pilots to reach well-defended targets and suppress enemy radars.

The F-35 Mission Data organization is in need of an RF engineer to process, test and integrate Mission Data File products. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the Mission Data File Sets can be properly integrated with customer hardware, manage procurement and installation of customer hardware where necessary, and root cause installation issues. Key areas of responsibility are: Mission Data File products Development Integration, Testing, Cross-Functional Collaboration Leadership, Export Control, and Software Development.

A level 2 employee Typically has 2 – 5 years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM related discipline
• Experience with design, development and testing of software products.
• Demonstrated strong analytical and communication skills

Desired Skills:

• Experience with design, programming, and/or testing of Electronic Warfare or other Avionic systems
• Experience with Agile software development
• Hands on Electronic Warfare or other Avionic Systems lab testing: Testing and evaluating Operational Flight Program (OFP) as well as Mission Data File (MDF) or Stimulator programming experience
• Export Control experience
