Job Description
PURPOSE OF ROLE:
The Lead Business Analyst is primarily responsible for supporting Reporting needs for the Accounting teams for Loweโs US and Canada operations. This position is responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of reports and data generated by the Reporting team. A substantial amount of technical knowledge is needed to support the various user requests and special projects.
The Lead Business Analyst will provide basic trouble shooting and will work closely with the IT Department on system maintenance and enhancement issues. This position develops and enhances databases and reports, plus provides technical support and training to various user groups. A goal of this position is to automate business procedures used by the department to improve accuracy and speed. To accomplish this, the Lead Business Analyst must be proficient with MS Office products and have hands on experience working on Databases such as MS Access/Teradata and with visualization tools such as Power BI or MicroStrategy. Advanced Excel capabilities are a must have.
The Lead Business Analyst will collaborate directly with various areas of Finance & Accounting and other areas of the Business in order to ensure financial and operational metrics are reported accurately.

QUALIFICATIONS
Exp: 6-8 years
Keywords: PowerBI, SQL, MS access, Financial Reporting
- Bachelorโs Degree in Information Systems, Accounting, or other related field and overall 8+ years of Experience in various Reporting roles.
- Self-motivated, strong leadership skills and excellent verbal/written skills
- Excellent time management/organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong computer skills (i.e. Excel, Access, Macros, Power BI, SQL, etc.)
- Experience with PeopleSoft & DART
