Overview:
Lutron is seeking a seasoned and collaborative Data Analyst to lead the development, validation, and rollout of data analytics solutions. In this role, you will apply your innovative thinking and knowledge of data and tools to drive strategic projects across the business. Your work will have a direct impact on the overall effectiveness of strategic initiatives. By collaborating with fellow analysts and key, internal stakeholders, you will manage the creation and launch of new analytics solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead development, validation, and roll-out of data analytics solutions (dashboards, reports, insights)
- Drive projects by taking a holistic view of needs across the business to increase use of data
- Work with analysts across departments to leverage best practices and techniques and solve cross-functional problems
- Engage business stakeholders and technical team to achieve business goals and project deliverables
- Track progress against plan and effectively manage communications to all stakeholders
- Manage coordination of launching new analytics solution – demos, training, creation of informative resources
- Spearhead initiatives to process, clean, verify the integrity and quality of data used for analysis
- Evaluate and analyze raw source data for quality and relevance to business requirements
- Manage and fulfill ad-hoc requests from business for updates to metrics and visualizations
- Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging data
- Establish near-term and long-term strategies aligned with business and platform goals
- Communicate complex ideas across all levels of organization using clear data-visualizations techniques
- Leverage governance framework in up-keep business catalog & consistency of information models
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
- Minimum, cumulative GPA of 3.0 for all degrees earned
- 8+ years of industry experience in building analytics or business intelligence solutions
- Expertise in at least one of the following domains – product development, marketing, or business
- Experience with writing complex queries using SQL to analyze large data sets
- Experience in at least one analytical tool – PowerBI, QuickSight, Tableau, or Cognos Analytics
