McKesson is going through a Data and Digital Innovation transformation to be best in class within our analytics, data science, and technology organization.


As Director of Enterprise Analytics, Customer Solutions, this role partners with McKesson leadership across the business to drive analytics strategy, championing decision making based on a rigorous analytic process, and will help drive our transformation.


You will lead an established Analytics Center of Excellence focused on retail and health system customer activities, managing a team of data engineering, data science, visualization and analytics resources. As Director, you will partner closely with the sales and marketing leaders who focus on acquisition, retention, and growth of our retail and health system customers.


Key responsibilities include supporting a culture of collaboration and mutual respect across the Analytics COE, fostering an atmosphere of innovation and delivering high value projects; ensuring a portfolio approach to use cases while balancing the day-to-day/ad hoc analytic needs of our business partners where appropriate; and as a key member of the wider analytics community within McKesson, you are expected to maintain relationships and collaborate effectively with other data science, business intelligence and technology teams, most notably the insight delivery teams (spokes) in support of strategic growth initiatives.


Position Description

Responsibilities:

  • Owns the delivery of enterprise analytics use cases and solutions for defined analytics center of excellence, Retail and Health System Customer Solutions.
  • Use cases will range in size and focus and include activities such as refinement of sales force optimization, customer targeting, segmentation, churn/leakage, category management optimization, customer profitability optimization, and marketing and sales campaigns.
  • Owns all aspects of the use case process, including the valuation metrics associated with use case prioritization.
  • Leads core team of analytics resources and fosters a community that allows analytics to flourish.
  • Collaborates/Partners with leadership and local insights delivery teams to understand their challenges and ensure enterprise resources are leveraged to accelerate critical business initiatives
  • Conducts market scans and benchmarks to ensure analytics initiatives are prioritized in alignment with McKesson priorities
  • Develops best practices and standard analytics solution architectures and promotes their use across the enterprise
  • Work with McKesson Technology to structure a data environment that fully supports initiatives and ensures needed data delivery and tools are available.


Minimum Requirements

  • Typically has 7 years of relevant experience.


Critical Skills

  • 8+ years of experience with analytics including knowledge of advanced analytics techniques (i.e. Predictive Analytics & Modeling, AI, Machine Learning, Regression Analysis)
  • 8+ years managing multiple teams
  • 5+ years of retail and/or health system pharmacy customer experience
  • Ability to create and lead a creative environment
  • Experience in value realization, ROI and program prioritization

  • Ability to foster a community which will attract and retain talent
  • Proven experience in influencing business leaders towards change, and business process alignment and improvement

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree/MS Preferred
  • Additional BI & Analytics certifications are welcomed

“This is a full-time, salaried position with a salary range of $ 135,100.00 to $ 225,100.00 with benefits. McKesson offers Medical, Dental, Vision, Holidays and PTO.
