Position Description:
McKesson is seeking a qualified Sr Data Analyst to support/drive governance and monitoring of Information Technology (IT) performance and service level metrics within the Partner and Integration organization at McKesson Technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Provide detailed Service Level reporting for the CIO, Senior Management and Business stakeholders
- Assist in keeping documentation up to date as it relates to Data Standardization definitions.
- Identifies and interprets trends, patterns, and correlations among various data points.
- Analyzes data for quality and completeness in accordance with established data governance policy and standards.
- Develops scripts to report and extract data for analysis.
- Creates data quality control processes to audit extracted lists ensuring data governance is maintained on all processes.
- Performs data profiling and business analysis (logical modeling) to determine the most effective ways to measure and provide data.
- Provides insights as to the best means to analyze and combine multiple data sources to form accurate and meaningful datasets.
- Prepares documentation of relationships, integration, and flow of data.
Minimum Requirements:
10+ years of relevant experience
Critical Skills:
- Five years’ experience in data analysis with intermediate/advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills.
- Experience working in a Service Management environment with Service Management tools such as ServiceNow or Remedy.
- Knowledge of business processes as well as the ability to construct data queries.
- Ability to liaison between lines of business and technology teams.
- Relevant professional qualifications ITIL, Lean Six Sigma (Operational Excellence), PMI
- Demonstrable experience of having designed and implemented significant data reporting improving customer satisfaction•
- Demonstrates ability to work pro-actively with technical subject matter experts across the McKesson Technology enterprise.
- Highly motivated, detail-oriented, self-starter, who can set priorities, take initiative and work both independently and proactively in a dynamic team environment.
- Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and be flexible as a member of a small team that must balance handling multiple priorities at any given time.
Additional Knowledge & Skills:
- Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication.
- Knowledge of IT outsourcing activities in a managed services environment
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
