Using machine learning and other data mining techniques to get insights from massive datasets,
Experience with programming languages such as R, SPSS, Python, or Scala
Utilizing your experience with R (and any associated tech like Python) to write new algorithms (Bigrams, Trigrams, k-means clustering and STM Modelling) to process gigabytes of text data to produce new insights
Understanding what problems create consumer calls through data mining interaction records
Adapt the latest technologies in modeling and data mining to design scientific tests
Work together with a team of dedicated experts including researchers, developers, dev-ops engineers, and architects with a single goal of building best machine learning pipelines for a variety of use cases
Work with internal stakeholders to explore and understand business data
Formulate and test hypotheses to evaluate business strategies and measure impact
Learn and apply complex analytical techniques
Apply advanced analytics skills to turn data into competitive advantage and make recommendations for data-driven business decisions
Text Analysis
Participate in projects planning to leverage data science and cognitive technology
Support the process of identifying key problems
Research and identify ideas and data possibly used to solve such problems
Participate in the process to build prototypes
Qualifikationen
- Bachelor’s degree required in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science, Physics
- Intern or work experience with predictive analytics, pattern recognition, or data mining/data analysis preferred
- Self-motivated, work well both independently and as part of an agile team
- Apply various statistical and machine learning techniques to develop segmentations, association analysis, predictive models
