Vendor – 3rd Party IP Security Business Analyst:
As a Vendor – 3rd Party IP Security Business Analyst in the Global Security Organization (GSO) at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for processes, metrics, reporting, and communications relied on by the Vendor – 3rd Party IP Security program. In this role you will identify data and inputs to measure performance, monitor critical metrics to drive continuous improvement, provide status updates, and document process and training materials. This position requires cross functional coordination, outstanding communication skills, creative problem solving and a highly organized, process-focused aptitude to manage a variety of responsibilities and deliverables.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
Gain and maintain knowledge of GSO programs
Strong stakeholder engagement within GSO and across the Micron network including Procurement, Manufacturing, TPG, Quality, Legal, and IT
Develop and implement new capabilities, reports, and dashboards in support of program
Propose, implement, and communicate program metrics
Compile metrics and reports at varying levels of complexity to effectively communicate with a range of audiences
Work with stakeholders to define project plans including timelines and key deliverables
Facilitate efficient and effective program and project execution
Publish and communicate program update reports
Create program training materials
Participate on global teams related to areas of focus
Conceptualize and streamline business processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Continuously gain specific process knowledge
Use data, observations, and feedback to identify best practices across the implementation teams and implement these BKMs as standards
Create and maintain program site and repository
Qualifications and Experience:
5+ years of experience in business analyst or similar role
Proficiency with Microsoft products – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint Online
Knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, Splunk is a plus
Creative and critical thinker with strong analytic skills
Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
Excellent attention to detail and follow-through skills
Independent worker who can execute broad plans with little guidance
Strong prioritization capabilities, with an aptitude for breaking down work into manageable parts, effectively assessing the priority and time required to complete each part
Demonstrated ability to solve problems across multi-functional groups, both within and outside your department/site
Comfortable interacting and connecting with technical, non-technical and leadership teams to convey a message that resonates with each audience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Semiconductor industry experience is a plus
Education:
Bachelor’s degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent experience
