Summary:
A minimum of 3 years’ experience preferred; the Manager, Data Operations
is responsible for managing the execution and compliance of data quality standards and processes. In their role, they will manage the creation of project plans, prioritization of tasks, and the standardization of processes and business rules. The Manager is expected to facilitate the progression of projects through status meetings and act as the intermediary between project teams. They will report to the Associate Director and will provide overviews of project status, progression and roadblocks. This role requires a strong familiarity with all available analytics and technology tools, both syndicated and proprietary.

This role is specific to Kimberly Clark client as we begin to build out our capabilities around Retail media and Search data. The below responsibilities will be in the context of onboarding and managing Retail data.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the investigation and resolution of potential data issues existing within business intelligence tools
- Proactively identify, propose and generate targeted solutions for data quality issues and operational inefficiencies
- Supervise Senior Associates and Associates to perform data quality assurance and data processing tasks
- Create and manage project timelines and tasks in project management tools
- Facilitate communication and progression of tasks through regular status meetings and working sessions; proactively elevate and resolve project roadblocks and issues
- Analyze data and consult with subject matter experts to design and develop business rules for data processing; Create, gather and write Business and Technical Requirements Documents
- Act as the subject matter expert for projects relating to data quality, business rules; Ensure that best practices are being followed amongst all projects
- Builds positive relationships with internal teams; effectively communicate roles, responsibilities and expectations
- Builds positive relationships with vendors and partners
Systems & Tools:
- Strong familiarity with programming languages like SQL
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Datorama
- Familiarity with project management tools like Jira, DevOps
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud resources like BLOB storage
- Familiarity with API connections and ETL processes
- Familiarity with Retail Media/Search data a plus
- Experience with advertising campaign management platforms such as Sizmek, DCM, Mediaocean, Media Tools
- Advanced excel data manipulation skills required; VBA/macro is a plus
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or advanced degree in Statistics, Economics, Business, Math, Computer Science, or Sciences is preferred
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in data governance processes in a data warehousing, ETL and business intelligence environment
- 3 years’ experience in media; digital Investment, analytics, or ad operations is preferred
- 1-2 years’ experience in business analysis
- Experience and understanding of processes across multiple media channels (digital, search, social, offline, etc.); Experience in handling diverse datasets (paid media, owned, etc.)
- Demonstrates strong eye/attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Exceptional organizational skills, multi-tasking capabilities and detail oriented
- Ability to foster collaborative relationships with other cross-functional teams
- Ability to manage and prioritize competing projects and deliverables
- Comfortable working with budgets and numbers
