Summary

This IT Business Analyst (BA) is a hybrid remote / office position and responsible for managing all JD Edwards (JDE) add-on software applications, which supports the main ERP system and critical business processes. They will work within the IT Department as well as across other functional business groups in support of add-on’s, JDE related configuration and development process.


Responsibilities

  • Learn and take ownership of JDE add-on software applications such as Tidal, ReportsNow, CreateForms, Loftware, etc.
  • Participate in projects with more senior BAs to support the various phases and activities of solution development including analysis, design, testing, and documentation.
  • Acquire knowledge of various functional areas that utilize JDE to effectively support their use of the software.
  • Create documentation for processes and procedures as requested.
  • Participate in professional organizations (Quest Oracle Community, Regional User Groups, Special Interest Groups). INDSJ


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent in experience.
  • Min 1-3 years of functional knowledge in JDE or other Enterprise Resource Programs (ERP) systems such as SAP, MS Dynamics, Plex or other.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment, and be able to exercise tact, discretion, and professionalism when dealing with internal and external customers.
  • Self-motivated and possesses the ability to complete tasks on time and with little supervision.
  • High attention to detail, process oriented, strong analytic/problem solving skills and abilities to understand business and technology impact.
  • Strong sense of ownership and thoroughness, with the ability to grasp new concepts quickly.
