Job Profile

The Cloud CoE (Centre of Excellence) drives and facilitates the adoption of cloud services to align with the Morgan Stanley cloud strategy. We are an inclusive and supportive team with excellent exposure to cloud adoption across the firm.

The Cloud CoE team own the infrastructure responsible for defining application patterns, capturing architecture decisions and the business intelligence system used for cloud migration tracking. In this role, you will be responsible for the development, maintenance and support of the infrastructure required to track cloud adoption across the firm. You will be responsible for capturing and displaying cloud metrics and providing insight to cloud capabilities and the firm’s infrastructure modernization initiative. Development will be distributed between on prem and cloud, integrating diverse data sources and supplying the data to stakeholders in the required format. The ideal candidate will have experience with databases, API, integration and data loading, be comfortable data modelling across structured, unstructured and timeseries stores, integrating incomplete data sets with subjective data, aggregating and communicating information and incorporating client feedback.

  • Experience with Agile development methodology and CI/CD
  • Experience with tools such as GIT, Jira and Bitbucket
  • Development experience (e.g. Python, Java, ETL, Swagger)
  • Database experience (e.g. Structured, Unstructured and Column)
  • Business Intelligence or data analytics experience (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, QlikView)
  • Metrics and data analytics experience (KPIs, spark charts)

Qualifications/Criterion

Skills Desired

  • Cloud development experience (e.g. Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Azure Functions, AWS Lambda)
  • UI/UX technologies (e.g. HTML5/AngularJS/Bootstrap)
  • Integration experience (e.g. between cloud and on prem services)
