The RealPage Financial Services group is hiring a Data & Reporting Analyst to join our Payments Operations team. You will work alongside the Senior Reporting Analyst, Product Management, Operations, and Finance, to design, develop and support business intelligence, analysis, and reporting solutions. You will be responsible for data modeling and reporting using solutions in a Microsoft tools environment while adhering to current reporting procedures. In this role you will meet regularly with business and management stakeholders to define requirements for reporting needs. To succeed in this role, you should have a naturally analytical mindset and be able to analyze various datasets to provide key metrics and trending to business leaders.
WHAT YOUรขLL DO:
The RealPage Financial Services group is hiring a Data & Reporting Analyst to join our Payments Operations team. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and maintain periodic and ad hoc reporting to support the Financial Services busines
- Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
- Maintain datasets and perform updates as necessary to ensure accuracy
- Monitor data to identify changes in financial and business trends
- Maintain databases and perform updates as necessary to ensure accuracy
- Document processes and communicate the results of your efforts.
- Effectively communicate your insights and plans to team members and management.
- Working closely with operational & managerial staff.
- Updating and maintaining procedures, product & technical specifications, etc.
- Managing competing resources and priorities.
- Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Advanced experience using MS SQL, Excel and dashboard reporting is required.
- Advanced experience with PowerBI is preferred.
- Excellent process-documentation skills.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills are a must
- Experience in data analytics and reporting, market trends/analysis, etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective communication to internal teams
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, while meeting regular deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, and take initiative
- Flexibility to work overtime hours (nights and weekends) when required
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in business intelligence and reporting, or a related field.
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Experience in financial services is preferred.
- Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
- A track record of following through on commitments.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- A history of leading and supporting successful projects.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
