Job Location: Bangalore/Bengaluru
Job Responsibilities:
- The primary focus of this role is to develop best solutions and services to facilitate larger application teams to onboard to Devops tooling / methodologies, fostering for robust and reliable platform and pushing for operational excellence with the larger groups, such as Create tooling, services to improve developer experience, facilitating for self-service and self-sufficiency Automate and streamline processes to reduce manual and toil works
- Understand, and promote for operational excellence culture by applying standardization, operational governances
- Set up proactive monitoring to ensure our environment stability, risk mitigation and cost reduction
- Work with production support team for infrastructure management, incident management, prod issue analysis and solution identification
- Assist with onboarding and facilitating the applications to the automated continuous pipeline framework and Devops tooling / methodologies
Provide various administration, maintenance, migration, upgrade, and support activities on various Infrastructures (Tools, Database, Servers, scripts, etc.). - Look out for opportunities to automate and streamline for Infrastructure management and migrations
- Candidate would work closely with application teams, production support teams, and other horizontal services to drive, create, participate in and push for projects, tooling, initiatives and best practices.
Qualifications
Primary Skills:
- 4+ years of overall IT experience
- 3+ years of experience of Devops and Application Development.
- Experience in Application development, Infrastructure tooling
- Experience and have good understanding in Reliability, Resiliency initiatives and Stability governance
- Proficiency with Core Java and infrastructure and DevOps
- Proficiency with UNIX operations
- Good Knowledge of SQL with a RDBMS, preferably Hadoop
- Good Knowledge of Monitoring tools like AppDynamics, Splunk and JProfiler
- Experience with Agile methodologies, GIT and CICD
Desired Skills:
- Experience in both software development system infrastructure
Good knowledge of:
- Cloud-based environments such as: AWS or Azure
- Container platform: Docker
- Automation testing using tools such as: Junit, Maven/Gradle
- Visualization and analysis tools such as: Tableau
