Job Summary
This is an individual contributor position in the NetApp Global Procurement organization. You will be the superuser for direct procurement analytics, processes, and tools. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy and roadmap for advancing direct procurement data and analytics. You should have a passion to connect and turn data into meaningful insights
As a Procurement Data Analyst, you will be working collaboratively with several teams within the Supply Chain organization including Commodity Management, Demand Planning, Operations Program Management, Supply Planning, and Finance
Primary responsibilities :
Define, architect, develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy and roadmap for an all-encompassing data model within the corporate data lake that would be a foundation for prescriptive and predictive analytics
Establish data governance framework
Advance self-service data and analytics capability to empower the organization to monitor the performance of direct procurement and make better decisions with data
Implement tool enhancements and process automation; document both superuser and commodity team processes.
Work with business system analysts on business process and system redesign
Work closely with commodity managers, EMS partner managers, operations program managers, and business systems analysts to provide the right data insights to solve management and operation problems
Responsible for direct procurement reporting, including monthly metrics and reporting, as well as annual commodity strategy and cost reduction
Job Requirements
Proven track record in establishing data lake and developing self-service analytics
Strong interest in data analysis; facts and data-driven approach to problem solving; Strong sense of logic and critical thinking
Have proficiency with and dexterity over software platforms such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, among others
Experience with predictive modeling and use of machine learning/AI
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and schedule
Curious, self-driven, and high degree of initiative with capability to prioritize and multi-task in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment
Good interpersonal and collaboration skills with ability to drive and influence change
Excellent verbal and written communications skills, using data storytelling to present complex data to leadership in a simple and brief manner
Qualifications & Education
Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in analytics, data science, business intelligence, machine learning, or data management
Bachelor degree in a field that emphasizes data analysis and visualization or related field (Data Analytics, Information Technologies, Data Science, Computer Science)
Proven track record in analytics, specifically in designing a data lake, data governance, data extraction, transformation, and data visualization applications
Demonstrated ability to develop analysis and insights from data using BI reporting tools
Experience with predictive modeling and use of machine learning/AI
Prior experience working in a supply chain and/or procurement setting desirable

If the Company determines this role will be performed in Colorado, the starting salary for this position is $147,700. This role could be eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401(K), Paid Time off (PTO), Company bonus, and Employee stock purchase plan. Final compensation will be dependent on various factors such as location, qualifications, certifications, relevant work experience and other factors, consistent with applicable law.
