The Performance Analytics Director, which reports to the Head of Marketing Performance Analytics and Lead Management, is responsible for building end-to-end tracking, measurement capabilities and visualization of marketing performance. This role will partner closely with Marketing Program Managers to deliver insights that help the team drive results against a set of strategic objectives and support value creation of Marketing investments.
The individual will lead a team of high performing business intelligence professionals in the development of applied analytics solutions to bring together more agents and customers. They will develop comprehensive reports, dashboards and analyses that provide meaningful insight to growth and optimization opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Focus on measuring the performance of a range of marketing and communications activities across paid media, digital content, SEO, email marketing, web interactions and lead generation
- Drive implementation of tools and lead the advancement of processes surrounding accurate, timely and meaningful marketing funnel reporting; campaign execution to lead generation and sales
- Lead the team in design and development of data visualization dashboards to track performance measurement against KPIs – converting raw marketing data into easy-to-understand insights
- Provide strategic analysis of corporate, field and content marketing activities to identify optimization opportunities and investment decisions
- Proactively perform segmentation analyses to identify trends and make strategic recommendations
- Manage data tracking infrastructure to ensure connectivity between Marketing interactions
- Work with Marketing Campaign Managers to drive reporting requirements and alignment on measurement approach
- Lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting to turn performance marketing data into meaningful insights and help build dashboards, utilizing Tableau, for reporting
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required in a quantitative discipline such as business, marketing, or engineering
- 8+ years experiences in a Marketing Analytics role
- 3+ years of experience managing a team of business intelligence analysts
- Ability to interpret and synthesize data into a compelling strategic recommendation or narrative
- Combine technical skills, business acumen and creative curiosity
- Collaborative and able to work cross-functionally across varying levels of the organization
- A self-starter who can deal with ambiguity and drive results with minimal direction
- Previous experience within the financial services insurance industry
- Experience with Business Intelligence and building Data Visualization tools (e.g. Tableau)
- Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, data mining, data analysis experience
- Experience with Web Analytics tools (e.g. Adobe Analytics), a plus
- Experience with SQL, a plus
