Department Overview:

The Corporate Business Intelligence Team (CBIT) is the initial contact within Operations for inquiries related to key risk and performance indicators and implementation of automation via digital tools. The candidate would be leading a team of 2-3 people with responsibility for delivering over 100 regional reports each day to hundreds of internal clients. The regional lead should be able to bring both technical skills and people skills to be able to interact across cultures with global colleagues.

Role Description/Responsibilities:

  • The position will report into the Global CBIT Head and will primarily support US Operations.
  • Responsible for supporting ongoing maintenance of existing reports and datamarts as well the development and customization of SAP Business Objects reports.
  • Work with clients and stakeholders across Compliance, Audit, Control and Middle Office to understand business requirements and data needs.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to develop/strengthen the regional Reporting team and encourage digital tool adoption within the department.

Required Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:

  • 8+ years of Financial Services industry experience, with a good understanding of the terminology and processes.
  • Extensive experience working with and embedding data visualization and other digital tools (Alteryx, PowerBI, Python, Denodo, Confluence, UIPath).
  • Experience with SAP BusinessObjects or other Business Intelligence tools preferred.
  • Excellent leadership and team-building skills with the ability to collaborate with teams in different locations to drive the agenda.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Experience writing Business Requirements documents preferred.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of relational database structure as the basis for data modelling, and querying via SQL.
