Job Location: Phoenix, AZ

Are you a sales engineer who’s eager to accelerate the adoption of Nuance’s Conversational AI solutions? In that case we would like to (virtually) meet to see if you want to join our team and work with key customers in North America.

You will be responsible for discovering customers’ business needs, developing solution offerings, and demonstrating the value of our exciting and innovative technology. You’ll be using your consulting and influencing skills to develop and advocate a solution to deliver positive business outcomes for the customer.

You will:

  • - Advertisement -

    Develop a deep understanding of Nuance’s Conversational AI technologies and become an advocate for how they contribute to our customer’s success.

  • Partner with the sales team to develop trusted relationships with key customer accounts and help to continue Nuance’s growth as a major player in the Spanish and Portuguese market.

  • Develop a deep understanding of our customers from an organizational, financial and product standpoint.

    Consult with customers to uncover business and technical needs and develop solution architectures to deliver their desired business outcomes.

  • Collaborate with internal teams on commercial and technical proposals, and to develop innovative approaches for bespoke customer requirements.

  • Provide valuable insight into product and research direction by establishing technical requirements, sharing market sentiment, and providing feedback on product roadmaps.

  • Provide expert product and technical input to responses to customer requests.

  • Maintain a focused approach to sales and provide valuable input to constantly improve sales performance.

We expect:

Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher

Years of Experience: 8 +

You have:

  • Previous experience working in a consultative presales’ role

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong demo and presentation skills

  • Ability to work remotely and independently, plus collaborate within a multi-functional team environment

  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking and focus on the big picture

  • Excellent coordination, negotiating, prioritization and time management skills

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and react appropriately in a fast moving, dynamic work environment

  • Language requirements: strong oral and written communication skills in English

  • Optional languages: Spanish language skills welcome, not required

Advantageous experience:

  • Knowledge of digital interaction technologies such as live chat, messaging and virtual agents/chatbots

  • Experience with contact center technologies (IVR, telephony, analytics)

  • Understanding of Conversational AI, Speech Recognition and Biometrics technologies

  • Awareness of AI and machine learning concepts

  • Understanding of web development technologies, protocols, and APIs

  • Knowledge of cloud computing technologies and platforms

Base compensation range: $98,000-147,000 (commensurate with experience), plus eligible for commissions earned on quota attainment.
