Summary
The Business Systems Analyst Apprentice will be part of an extensive and wide-ranging training program with exposure to a variety of specialized technology disciplines including but not limited to, Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Database Administration. An Apprentice will receive support from managers and mentors through hands-on training, with the intention to learn, develop and demonstrate new knowledge.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and executing QA test plans and scenarios
- Develop basic database queries and perform analysis on results
- Ensure all work products are documented, stored, and managed according to company standards
- Ensure open communication flows in all directions
- Troubleshoot, analyze and debug issues
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Basic SQL skills
- Familiar with reporting tools to create basic reports and dashboards
- Familiar with software development lifecycle methodologies such as agile or waterfall
Working Conditions
Must be able to perform the essential job duties. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each work day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
