As a Business Analyst Consultant Product Owner, you are responsible for driving the deployment of new product features across [Business Name} products. The Product Owner is the conduit between tech and all impacted cross-functional partners both within and external to the business. The Product Owner role fosters relationships within the Agile team and help build connections into and between the business to ensure high-quality and consistent delivery. The Product Owner is seen as a member of the Agile team who serves as the business stakeholder proxy.

Primary Responsibilities:

Core Accountabilities

• Accountable to drive the deployment of new product features across an established backlog
• Determine how the product experience should work – translating a vision into use cases and value opportunities
• Voice to all impacted cross-functional partners in the day-to-day execution and deployment of product features, responsible for ascertaining readiness of the release and business’ ability to leverage the new functionality
• Single owner that validates whether the feature deployment meets the business requirements
• Primary source for product feature detail and priorities for cross functional partners, ensuring understanding and appropriate prioritization

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 4+ years of business analyst experience
• Proven Experience in working with Agile / Scrum work environment as a Product Owner: writing user stories, and following the development process through user story Acceptance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Outlook

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $82,100 to $146,900. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $90,500 to $161,600. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
