Key Job Responsibilites are mentioned below
A. Analytics and BI – Be the expert to drive advanced analytics and Business Intelligence requirements with key results as mentioned below:-
- Develop high quality, compelling and insightful analytics in PowerBI to support business requirements.
- Drive improved business analytics across IBSO and other functions and departments using primarily PowerBI (or other BI solutions where appropriate).
- Work with end users to mock-up, specify and define reporting requirements or analytical requests.
- Develop and build the solution in PowerBI using advanced development techniques where required to deliver high quality dashboards with excellent User Experience and accurate and optimal presentation of data.
- Support the IBSO BI team on user administration and server management of the IB Analytics Hub folder within the OBS MSBI portal. (Power BI server)
- Assist in development of AI and ML use cases to support more in depth value added analytics.
B. Effective Communication: Drive the communication aspects to aid in business decision making by carrying out below listed activites:-
- Present to senior management the findings and conclusions from the analytics to assist in business decision making.
- Demo and train users from all regions on how to use and understand the developed analytics.
- Complete documentation and training material to support each development
C. Stakeholder management: Transversal collaboration with IT to ensure availability of quality data. Below actions needs to be carried out :-
- Work with the supporting team from IT to ensure that the right data sources are available through the EDH or other solution which are fully compliant with company and GDPR policy.
- Take part in the bi-weekly development Sprints with the IT team covering the specification, UAT testing and final sign off of any data source development requests. These are normally in the form of Analysis Services Reporting Cube developments.

Mandatory
- 8-10 yrs of experience in BI and analytics with 3-4+ years of experience in developing professional quality Power BI dashboards (Demonstration of PowerBI development skills during interview phase may be required or asked to provide evidence of previous work in PBI).
- Excellent understanding of DAX formula language in relation to Power BI development.
- Understanding of PBI dashboard development best practises
- Experience with relational database querying (SQL,Oracle etc) and data model building
- Excellent communication skills for presenting analytics to senior management as well as delivering training to users.
- Takes responsibility and demonstrates ownership of issues to solve complex reporting problems.
Good to have
- Some knowledge of AI and ML techniques, although, not mandatory.
- Interpersonal skills (ability to work with colleagues at all levels across multiple locations)
