Implement SAP Production planning solutions in relevant areasโข SAP process flow for
processes and Master data for PP,QM.
- Various master data elements and related configuration for PP,QM.
- Experience with production orders, scheduling, MRP, and shop floor execution.
- Understand how MRP functions drive procurement and manufacturing requirements.
- Have a strong working knowledge on master data setup including Vendors, Material
Masters, Bills of Material, and Product Routings.
- Advanced expertise with the Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay processes within SAP.
- Experience with Purchase Requisition and Purchase Order approval processing.
- Strong experience working with discrete manufacturing with MTO and MTS processing from
production order creation to production order settlement.
- Experience with SAP configurations related to physical inventory processes in IM and WM.
- Understand vendor consignment and vendor subcontract processes.
- Experience in Production order management, shop floor confirmation, delivery
commitment, Quality Management and End user Training.
- Should have worked in minimum 2 End to End projects independently Handling
configuration, testing & Go live support for PP module.
- Should be well versed with PP integration of MM, FI-CO and SD.
- Requires work on Incidents and Change Requests as per SLA’s, in addition to project
assignments. Should create Technical Specifications (RICEFs) for new enhancements
required by Business. Should have a Strong willingness to Learn new Skills.
- Trouble shoots issues on Production Planning module. Understand the issues faced by
end users on day to day basis and provide solutions appropriately.
- Work with the development team for providing solutions to users.
- Test the developments completed by the technical team.
Develops training scripts and business process procedures.
- Carry out unit testing & facilitate end user testing.
- WM and Enhanced WM experience is a plus. Roles and Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities for an SAP Business Analyst
- Act as a go-between for the business functional area and IT.
- Understand business processes from the business users and how to translate
these processes into SAP and explain necessary changes to the technical teams
- Partner with our internal customers in the business and others in IT to analyse
requirements, solve simple to complex problems and requests using
analytical/technical skills
- Collaborate with the basis and development teams to ensure business process
functionality
- Recommend ideas for improvements in process, systems, and technology
- Perform configuration changes to the SAP landscape as required for business process
improvements.
- Analyse business needs and make necessary SAP configuration changes
- Formulate and define system scope and objectives through research to develop
or modify current SAP configuration/system
- Analyse and understand root-cause of SAP system problems including research
and proposal of possible solutions with testing and validation of solution prior to
implementation
- Provide SAP training for business users.
- Perform system testing of business processes as required.
- Coordinate with the development team to complete internal IT testing activities
before UAT is started with business users
- Act as a resource for business users in UAT activities
- Support SAP upgrades by leading UAT activities.
- Assist in implementation or ongoing support for SOX and SOD policies.
- Be a member of the Jason SAP Centre of Excellence
- Act as a project team member for upcoming SAP implementations for the
business
- Drive projects within business areas for process improvements including
analysing existing software processes and implementing new procedures to
increase productivity.
Ability to document SAP business process needs by working with users, project
leaders and management to discuss and plan guidelines and criteria for
documentation of a system, program, project plan, and timelines
- Demonstrate attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a timely
manner
Position Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field
- Seven (7) to Ten (10) years experience working within business roles; manufacturing
experience preferred
- Seven (7) to Ten (10) years experience working in an SAP PP module.
- APICS CPIM certification helpful
- Certification from SAP is added advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills needed to build collaborative relationships with co-workers,
internal customers and external consulting partners
- Excellent verbal and written communication; demonstrated ability to communicate through all levels of the organization.
