Overview Business Analyst – Required having relevant experience around 5 years in understanding and assessing the changing needs of the current / existing business process or new implementation for enterprise applications (Enterprise Resource Planning / Enterprise Asset Management ) analyze the impacts of change, document and support communication between relevant groups and stakeholders and capture requirements needed to initiate a change.
Responsible for end-to-end management of requirement for change and be intermediaries to draft translate change needs across business units and functions.
Responsibilities Description: Please list by order of priority and, if possible, provide the percentage of time spent on the activity all should equal 100%.
Functional in Modules like GL /AP / EX /PO in a ERP Environment Familiar with Consolidation /Elimination / Month End Close /Year End Closing Chart fields Combination / Hierarchy /Cost Accounting Balance Sheet Report / PL Reports Analyze business system specifications to define automated system requirements.
Develop and maintain efficient customizations, APIs, interfaces, and reports.
Consult with personnel from various departments in order to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems pertaining to IFS and related systems/procedures.
Upgrades and deliveries.
Support fit-gap analysis, design and development of enhancements leveraging IFS capabilities.
Work with IFS on support cases to troubleshoot and resolve software problems.
Ongoing maintenance and enhancements of the IFS applications.
Monitor, manage, and respond to incidents reported through the ticketing system on a daily basis.
Follow all SOX and audit guidelines.
Establish Vectrus change procedures, standards, and specifications with respect to IT deliverables Document changes required on business processes or new requirements for IFS in specified format / template and prioritize requirements from various stakeholders Communicate, translate, and simplify business requirements to ensure buy-in from all stakeholders.
Collaborate with the Technical Analyst and development team to ensure that requirement / specifications are explained.
Conduct business process modeling and generate applicable scenarios for the technology functionality / Quality tests (manual / automated).
Co-ordinate with training team to document system scenarios and identify roles impacted to help develop a change management/training plan.
Ensure /check final product delivered as per requirement and adherence to the company standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Education / Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent) Certification related to Business Analyst i.e.
Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP), Professional in Business Analysis (PBA) or Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering (CPRE) desirable Successful candidates are proficient in computer technology and systems, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience: Around 5-10 years working as Business Analyst in IT Industry utilizing IFS applications.
Experienced in business functions for enterprise application.
Good to have experienced in Maximo and IFS or any other ERP application.
Knowledge of at least one programming language and DBMS Proficiency in written and spoken English.
Able to manage time and handle multiple priorities Skills Technology Used: Working knowledge of any SDLC process Agile or Waterfall Methodologies Experience with Requirement gathering tools Process knowledge for different business functions.
