In a highly technical and collaborative environment, we move our autonomous vehicle applications forward providing the software architecture, real-time control algorithms, artificial intelligence, motion planning, computer vision and sensor processing algorithms, graphical user interfaces and inter-process messaging needed to thrive. Our Motion planning and controls team builds the stack that is responsible for enabling the algorithms that make the vehicle execute trajectories in a safe, accurate and reliable manner. The Machine Learning group accelerates the development cycle of autonomous vehicle engineers by building the infrastructure to process, analyst and learn from the data and focus on improving safety and performance. The work we do has a high impact to the organization; our technology will change lives.
YOUR IMPACT
- Champion engineering excellence by reimagining technologies to own, design, implement and test scalable distributed data in the cloud systems
- Generate platforms to support machine learning models training, evaluation and deployment workflows at Oshkosh
- Own technical project lifecycles, including responsibility for major decisions and tradeoffs to contribute to the teams’ product roadmap
- Support junior professionals through effective onboarding and mentorship
Your Experience And Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, physics or relevant field; or 8-years of equivalent real-world experience
- 2 years of experience working with machine learning and artificial intelligence
- Experience building scalable infrastructure on the cloud with Python
Standout Qualifications
- Master’s or Ph.D. in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, physics or relevant field; and 5+ years of experience working with machine learning and artificial intelligence
- Proficient in writing SQL queries for analytic purposes
- Proficient in C++
