Job Description
Position Purpose: The Machine Learning Engineer is responsible for empowering the Data team to achieve its value-add objectives: setting up data pipelines for Data ingestion, Analytics, Machine Learning on large data sets to derive value from firm’s data assets. The ideal candidate will exhibit passion for continuous improvement and a dedicated focus on enabling consumers to achieve their goals by making data driven decisions.

Primary Accountabilities/Responsibilities
- Develop software solutions and implement machine learning algorithms and tools to drive data science and machine learning projects.
- Establish data pipelines for data ingestion, analytics and machine learning on large data sets to derive value from the firm’s data assets.
- Engage in design and development of data pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
- Develop a full machine learning software stack.
- Apply prediction methodologies to achieve innovation and enablement for classification of large financial data sets.
- Analyze large data sets in the context of capital market business problems and apply necessary models.
- Perform statistical analysis and improvise on the results by fine tuning models and conducting testing train analytics.
- Write software development documentation on the functioning of technology using collaboration tools including Confluence.
- Write and develop clear documentation for new code and systems used.
- Document systems designs, presentations, and business requirements for consumption and consideration by management.
- Drive team practices and procedures.
- Participate in long-term department planning, with a focus on initiatives achieving data empowerment, data driven decisions, operational efficiency and sustainability.
- Collaborate with technical teams and utilize system expertise to deliver technical solutions.
Job Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Business Analytics.
- Two (2) years of experience as Software Developer, Data Analyst or Data Scientist.
- The two (2) years of experience must have involved the development of big data software solutions, and execution of business data analytics through data science or machine learning.

- Minimal physical requirements other than occasional light lifting of boxed materials
