As a Quantitative Analyst, youโll play a key role in Pacific Lifeโs growth and long-term success by improving the risk oversight and analytics for the PLFA managed portfolios. You will fill Quantitative Analyst role that sits on a risk team of 3 people in the Pacific Life Fund Advisors division.
How you will make an impact:
Create and manage Performance Attribution reports for our 15-20 multi-asset class portfolios by managing/developing an existing Matlab-based program and a returns database.
Ensure that the reports are accurate and can be produced in an efficient, stable and timely manner which are relied upon by the SVP of PLFA and the PLFA Investment Committee and used in Board reporting.
Maintain a multi-asset class database (which includes Derivatives and portfolio securities) and review Derivative VaR exposures from our risk vendor on a daily basis.

Work with risk vendors to find and correctly model out rejected and/or mismodelled securities.
Utilize Barra & risk vendors system to create VaR and customized Stress test reports to measure portfolio risk with and without derivatives.
