CDM
:

  • Performs Migrations / Set up / Close out activities apart from Study Conduct activities under supervision and quality checks from Team Lead.

  • Generates all study related reports, status updates, and carries out all study related email conversation and communication with internal stakeholders and Client.

:

About your team
Corporate Actions is responsible for identifying, tracking, processing and reporting Corporate Action events and Dividends, which effect any security position held by Fidelity’s retail and institutional funds, across all asset classes. The global range of Fidelity’s products and services exposes you and the team to the full spectrum of corporate action types across most of the world’s stock markets.
A Day in Corporate Actions
Corporate actions are in daily contact with approximately 30 custodian banks and information vendors researching, analysing and verifying corporate action information. The team is responsible for notifying the Portfolio Managers and Trading Desks globally with details of voluntary corporate actions. Corporate actions collect all responses and instruct the custodian banks in line with the Portfolio Managers wishes. The team account for all corporate action and CFD dividend entitlements in the individual funds across multiple daily Net Asset Value (NAV) points. Corporate actions work to tight deadlines to meet their obligations within Fund Servicing & Oversight .
The team operates in a fast developing and dynamic environment, where technology has and is being developed to automate current workflow processes. There is also a strong emphasis on liaison with the many areas within Global Business Solutions (GBS); working collaboratively to resolve mutual issues.
About your role
As an Analyst in Corporate Actions, you will be responsible for processing all corporate action and dividend entitlements in the accounting / investment book of records systems in a timely and accurate basis in accordance with accounting practices. The team’s daily processes are driven by the three daily valuation points at 10.00, 12.00 & 17.00 (UK time) and all activity must be loaded and checked prior to the valuation point. The team is also responsible for confirming the availability of entitlements and unblocking these from the trading system to enable trading. Processing will also include CFD’s and pre-processing certain mandatory events the day before ex-date within the Investment Services systems to reflect corporate action entitlements in the Start of Day positions delivered to Investment Management.
  • Your role will be a combination of Corporate Actions BAU and a Project role that will include testing upgrades / systems.
  • The successful candidate will be open to take on ad-hoc tasks covering all areas of the Corporate Actions team.
  • Ensuring all corporate actions are captured, scrubbed to multiple sources and accurately released into the Corporate Action system.
  • Identification, escalation and resolution of corporate action issues with particular emphasis on time critical and complex issues and managing custodian deadlines.
  • Timely instructing of Custodians on Optional events via MT565 messaging through Smartstream TLM Corporate Action system and other ad-hoc means when required, to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Ensure positions are placed into escrow as required and removed when available at the custodian
  • Accruing Cash Dividends in the Accounting system
  • Providing feedback on custodian and vendor performance to the management team
  • Liaison with other Operational areas such as Settlements, Pricing, Data Management and Fair Value and in Investment Management with the local Portfolio Service Groups
About you
Ideally you’ll have up to one year Global Corporate Action experience preferably gained in an Investment Management environment. Some experience in working on projects with good analytical skills while liaising with multiple stakeholders is desirable. Good time management skills with emphasis on ability to prioritise own work and meet tight deadline and solution finding, including strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator and self-starter with a dynamic “can do” attitude. Basic working knowledge of Equity / Fixed Income / Derivative type instruments is helpful along with strong Excel knowledge. You’ll be a good team worker sharing knowledge effectively and showing a flexible work approach and an understanding of basic accounting principles.

Main activities : As an intern, you will have the great opportunity to get trained on above mentioned products as per Airbus Tools & processes. Post training you will get exposed to the following tasks but working either yourself OR working close to Airbus TDA’s.

1. Writing of Technical Data Authoring activities of a Manual in accordance with specifications and quality standards contractual commitments, configuration management rules and approved schedules.

2. Innovate and bring the process improvements in the technical data perimeter. 3. Assessment of aircraft design inputs (Mod & Mod Proposal, Service Bulletin, ) that drive aircraft evolution in order to detect the impacts in the technical documentation. 4. Coordination with numerous interfaces: customer services departments, design offices, airlines, suppliers.

5. The jobholder also plays a key role in terms of continuous improvements for Technical Data processes & tools and for transnational standardization of ways of working.

6. Ensure and maintain compliance with EASA/FAA regulations (ICA process) and EN9100 for their own technical scope and perimeter of responsibility..

7. Provide continuous and efficient support to customers and all users of the Maintenance, Material deliverables.

This internship is expected to start around Aug/Sep and continue through Dec/Jan. Internships are in-person for 40 hours a week for a minimum of 12 weeks.

Data Engineering:

The Data Engineering team is building a state-of-the- art analytics platform for business and operation intelligence. At Tesla, we have enormous amounts of data and we want to give meaning to it and help business users to make data driven decisions. Our platform will allow users to answer what, when and how questions as well as allow them to ask what if?” Interns will help design, develop, maintain and support our Enterprise Data Warehouse & BI platform within Tesla. This position offers a unique opportunity to impact to the entire organization by developing data tools and creating a data driven culture.

Data Platforms:

Data is deeply embedded in the product and engineering culture at Tesla. We rely on data – lots of it – to improve autopilot, to optimize hardware designs, to proactively detect faults, and to optimize load on the electrical grid. This a small but fast-growing team which is building and operating the big data platform for the company. We collect massive amounts of IoT data, provide storage, access, and high-volume processing. Your work will affect many hundreds of Tesla engineers daily, as well as improve the functionality of our cars, chargers, and batteries worldwide.

Energy Analytics:

The Energy Analytics team uses data analytics to bridge the engineering, service, and deployment of Tesla’s charging infrastructure and to enhance the charging experience worldwide. With over 18,000 Superchargers and several thousand destination charging sites around the world, Tesla’s charging infrastructure aims to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable transportation by enabling electric mobility without compromises.

Fleet Analytics:

The Fleet Analytics team supports and enhances products through the use of data science and data analytics tools. This team brings together data scientists and software engineers��from across the company to foster collaboration, efficiency and to advance the best engineering and data analytics practices in the analytics community.

Qualification & Skills Required:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field of study and graduating between 2024-2026
  • Proficiency in one or more of the following developer skills: Python, Java, Go, C/C++, Ruby, SQL or other common industry languages Familiarity with database concepts such as MySQL, MS SQL.
  • Nice to have for Data Platforms: Kafka, ETL, IoT telemetry experience, Site Reliability experience.
  • Nice to have for Data Analytics: AirFlow, Splunk, Kafka, Spark.

Expected Compensation:

$32.45 – $45.43/hour + benefits
