As a Data Scientist working at TTEC Digital, you will work on a team with diverse clients and industries to create data-driven segmentations, develop cutting edge algorithms, curate predictive and descriptive customer features, and provide expert insight to increase our understanding of customer behavior and needs. You will help clients turn data into actionable insights that drive tangible outcomes, improve performance and help clients lead the market. This position requires in-depth understanding and use of statistical and data analysis tools.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Work within our proprietary big data cloud computing platform;
- Participate in the development, validation and delivery of machine learning algorithms and statistical models;
- Develop, validate and execute machine learning algorithms and predictive models to investigate problems, detect patterns and recommend solutions;
- Perform analyses of structured and unstructured data to solve moderately complex business problems by utilizing advanced statistical techniques and mathematical analyses;
- Explore, examine and interpret large volumes of data in various forms;
- Leverage a mixture of data science methods such as SVM, neural nets, decision trees, and regression models to support the delivery of predictive analytics solutions;
- Work with senior data scientists to develop requirements and technical specification documents for use by data engineers;
- Create and evaluate the data needs of assigned projects and assure the integrity of the data;
- Explore existing data and recommend additional sources of data for improvements;
- Document projects including business objectives, data gathering and processing, modeling methodology, detailed set of results and analytical metrics;
What You’ll Bring To Us
- Expert in Python, Pandas
- Ability to write basic SQL queries
- Data visualization using matplotlib, seaborn, ggplot, plotly
- Working experience in PySpark & SAS is desirable
- Knowledge of basic descriptive statistics, hypothesis testing, distributions
- Good knowledge of machine learning methods like OLS, Logistic, KNN, Decision
- Trees/Forests, Gradient Boost, XGBoost, time-series models
- Natural Language Processing (NLP) – text processing, tokenization, n-grams, sentiment analysis, topic modeling. Knowledge of BERT/Transformers models is a significant plus
- Ability to program and handle large datasets (>10GB)
- Ability to translate business problem to a data science problem and develop flexible solution frameworks
- Ability to effectively use data visualization tools like charts, graphs, and maps, to explain insights, trends, outliers, and patterns in data
- Selecting features, building and optimizing classifiers using machine learning techniques
- Knowledge of model deployment is desirable
- Knowledge of deep learning architectures – CNNs, RNNs, LSTM, Transformers, along with implementation of them using Tensorflow, PyTorch libraries is a significant plus
- Excellent communication skills – ability to describe findings to a technical and nontechnical audience
- Good knowledge of MS office suite of products (Excel and PowerPoint)
- Ability to create end-to-end PowerPoint presentations (outline, visualization, results, summary) that are client-ready are a significant plus
