Team and Role overview

FinReg Team is staffed globally with offices in New York, London, Singapore, and Kharkiv. The team has been structured to work closely with different departments at the company, allowing its professionals to gain diverse experience and a broad perspective on how Adenza functions. We are looking for an Associate Quality Assurance Engineer to join our FinReg QA team. This is a diverse role that entails collaboration with product managers, business analysts, and application developers. Such interaction with different departments and diverse projects creates a challenging and multi-dimensional work environment. The candidate’s primary responsibility is to support various QA activities across a diverse set FinReg products and clients.

Responsibilities

Be a part of an innovative team with the main goal to help with creating and providing complex and flexible financial reports;

Collaborate with DevOps, Dev, BA, QA, and core internal teams to understand requirements and new features to produce a comprehensive test coverage;

Analysis of the structure of bank report templates and incoming data required for reporting;

Perform functional and non-functional testing;

Design and development of test documentation;

Document software issues and enhancement requests with concise and detailed steps

Skills And Requirements

Higher education in Finance, Banking, Computer Science or related field;

Basic knowledge of testing theory (test types, test cases, bug reports, etc.);

Good knowledge of SQL, Excel;

Strong analytical skills and attention to details;

Proactive and self-motivated team players;

Good verbal and written communication skills;

Strong written and verbal English( Intermediate level)

Will be a plus a diploma/certificate of QA education

Job Description:
The Solution Delivery team implements technology based solutions in the areas of business intelligence, analytics, information management, reporting and mobility. In addition, this team configures ZS’s proprietary software used to streamline business processes for commercial groups at client organizations. This team takes overall ownership of the delivery of the technical solution leading the design and development phases and collaborating with other teams for business requirements and system testing.

Responsibilities:
• Lead development phase during implementation of world-class technology solutions to solve business problems across one or more client engagements;
• Provide input to Senior Business Technology Analysts and delivery leads to build comprehensive implementation project plans;
• Apply appropriate development methodologies (e.g.: agile, waterfall) and best practices (e.g.: mid-development client reviews, embedded QA procedures, unit testing) to ensure successful and timely completion;
• Collaborate with other team members (involved in the requirements gathering, testing, roll-out and operations phases) to ensure seamless transitions.
• Communicate business requirements & work closely with development teams to ensure accurate understanding and implementation;
• Guide and assist in development of project outputs such as business case development, solution vision and design, user requirements, solution mockup, prototypes, and technical architecture (if needed), test cases,
and deployment plans;
• Serve as a key member in driving user adoption and change management activities during inception, UAT and post implementation.

Qualifications:
• Up to 2.6 years of relevant consulting industry experience working on small/medium-scale technology solution delivery engagements;
• Experience working with front-end user reporting (e.g.: MSTR, Business Object, Cognos), back-end database management (e.g.: Oracle, Teradata) and/or ETL interfacing (e.g.: Informatica, SSIS) technologies.

Additional skills:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to articulate results and issues to internal and client teams;
