Purpose of the role
General Mills Digital & Technology department is developing a developing a best-in-class Product Content Management (PIM) capability to accelerate growth in the stores and on the digital shelf. We are accelerating a Digital Transformation of our Product Information Management (PIM) capabilities to provide a competitive advantage to our business. To this end we are looking for an Associate D&T Analyst, with passion for Product Content Management and Analytics, to join our Product Information Capabilities team.
High performance team member needed to organize, coordinate and work on digital content activities for General Mills core and brand websites across the globe. Position is mainly responsible for adding content to database, websites, printed publications and other distribution methods as business dictates. Position is integral to the success of GMI’s Content strategy.
This role will play critical role of linking business objectives to core technological capabilities. Sr. D&T Analyst will be responsible for collecting requirements from business, establishing processes, and coordinating the work with our technical development team. This team member will also likely have accountabilities in coordinating work with both strategic and technical consulting 3rd parties.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Ecommerce content publishing:
  • Publish the content on different ecommerce websites for various retailers.
  • Web-checking to ensure that the right content is getting published corresponding to the right products.
  • Audit on an ongoing basis.

Digital Asset Management:
  • Mojo:
  • Upload assets to GMI’s digital asset management system Mojo.
  • Applying appropriate metadata to wide range of asset types, including logos, packaging, cookbooks, recipe magazines, and image photography, videos, asset guides, and equity characters to ensure optimal search results.
  • Manage workflow for asset ingestion, metadata automation, and hierarchy integrity.

Recipe Management System
  • Prioritize, coordinate and complete all aspects of recipe system production and other special projects, using IRIS (GM’s Integrated Recipe Information System), RMS and various custom applications including Mojo ensuring timelines are met and data quality is achieved. This includes:
  • Selecting and categorizing recipes
  • Entry of recipes and content to database
  • Searching, downloading, and cropping photo images
  • Manage digital images from all sources using Mojo

  • Other:
  • Work on Continuous Improvement (CI) Initiatives focusing on increasing efficiencies and automation wherever needed. Seek opportunities to enhance processes and workflows.
  • Update system documentation as needed.
