Job Summary:

The Data Engineer is a key member of WellNow’s Data Operations team. Their work enables data-driven decision making across the organization by collecting, transforming, and publishing data from various structured or unstructured sources. Sales teams establish relationships with purchasing decision-makers, educate customers about Wayfair’s assortment, services, and capabilities, and proactively reach out to intercept emerging needs to help them complete their orders and projects.

We seek a motivated sales tooling analyst to be the expert in how sales teams use various sales tooling products (i.e., Salesforce CRM, Salesloft, Wayfair’s proprietary sales tooling). The role will partner with Sales Technology and Engineering teams to improve efficiency and effectiveness of how the sales team uses technology to maximize customer experience and revenue, from ideation to implementation and iteration.


What You’ll Do

The Revenue Operations Sales Tooling Manager will report to the Revenue Operations team lead, with the team acting as a “horizontal” focused on creating best-in-class sales tooling to maximize seller efficiency and effectiveness across B2B and Consumer Sales agents. The team will develop and implement the overall sales-facing tools/tech product roadmap, as well as individual roadmaps for the most critical sales-facing tools – going deep to include external industry best practices, capabilities, and features. This includes:

  • Partner with Sales, Sales Tech, Analytics and Engineering to:
    • Deeply understand Sales needs and Tools use cases, through active qualitative feedback gathering/rep shadowing and quantitative trends (e.g., efficiency, time in tool, uptime, and other operational KPIs)
    • Create and drive Sales Tooling roadmaps (overall and for individual product areas), incorporating external feature best practices, and aligning with cross-functional teams to resource and prioritize
    • Own Sales adoption and implementation, including creating communication plans, scalable data visualizations and dashboards, training materials, reporting structures, and ongoing adoption tracking
  • Manage team of 3-4 Revenue Operation Associates to:
    • Coordinate Sales Tooling resourcing across various initiatives (e.g., sprint planning, load balancing, coordinating across Business Enablement and cross-functional teams)

What You’ll Need

  • Real Estate: Review/produce/analyze financial projections for real estate opportunities (lease transactions, acquisitions/dispositions, relocations, etc) in order to guide senior-management decision making. Research/apply industry standards/benchmarks.
  • Design/Build Projects: Create support documentation such as schedules, budgets, overviews, and status updates for office/performance/studio design/build projects. Identify cost savings opportunities, review project documents, monitor and communicate with vendors, review and process invoices. Support ESG project initiatives.
  • Hospitality: Build/maintain operational guides with location-specific content for WMG domestic/international properties. Communicate with internal property leads and external vendors to develop/manage database of functional contacts.
  • Facilities Operations: Partner with Facilities/Finance to support initiatives including operating budgets, space programming, and regular reporting/audits.
  • Lease Administration: Manage rent/operating payments and reconciliations. Work closely with external lease administration functions to develop data/reporting for management. Liaise with property management as needed.
Here you’ll get to:

  • Facilitate communication between WMG and external project vendors, providing updates to management.
  • Provide financial analysis and updates from project approval through completion; manage and update all budgets; create capital request approval documentation and streamline approval process.
  • Create support documentation for projects (design and build of office/performance/studio space) such as schedules, budgets, overviews, and status updates.
  • Lead/manage select projects.
  • Build/maintain operational guides with location-specific content for WMG domestic/international properties. Communicate with internal property leads and external vendors to develop/manage database of functional contacts.
  • Support annual Facilities/Finance initiatives. Assist in development of building operating budgets, space allocations.
  • Assist in support documentation and development for departmental initiatives – including RFQs / RFPs, Bid Leveling Sheets, Scope Documents, Business Cases, etc. These may include new platforms, applications, products, and partnerships that impact one or more of the Workplace Experience teams.
About you:

  • 2+ years’ experience as analyst or equivalent
  • Strong Power Point / presentation skills
  • Strong Excel / analytic skills. Ability to manage large data sets and produce financial models.
  • Capable of simultaneously handling multiple projects in varying workstreams
  • Proactive, results-oriented, strong execution and follow-up skills
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business or related field
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills
  • Energized team player
  • Organized / ability to plan and schedule meetings

Salary Range

$65,000 to $70,000 Annually

Staff Data Scientist, Experimentation

What We Do

At WBD, the Experimentation DS/Eng teams comprise of data scientists, ML/DE engineers, and software engineers. Our goal is to provide principled, rigorous experimentation tools and concepts that empower our partners to confidently make data-driven product decisions. We work across the entire global company to design & analyze experiments and provide internal tooling / automated results via the Labs A/B testing platform.

What You’ll Do

  • Employ existing online experimentation frameworks and apply it to solve business problems
  • Research and build innovative statistical methods for the analysis of experiments
  • Research and design innovative experiment frameworks
  • Drive the design of scalable statistical solutions for production
  • Collaborate with product managers and business leaders in their experimentation programs
  • Coordinate the work of data scientists and engineers providing guidance and mentorship
  • Promote and role-model best practices of data science, engineering, and communication throughout the organization
  • Mentor engineers and data scientists across teams

What You’ll Need

  • Ph.D. or M.S. in a Statistics/Data Science or related field
  • 7+ years of applied Statistics/Data Science
  • Deep understanding of statistics, hypothesis testing, and ML fundamentals
  • Deep understanding of A/B testing / design of experiments / causal inference
  • Expert proficiency in SQL, Python/R, and standard data science libraries
  • Expert proficiency user of cloud computing/ML platforms, such as Databricks/Snowflake/AWS SageMaker
  • Production experience implementing, maintaining, and improving statistical analysis pipelines and models at scale in Python, Java, Scala, or similar languages
  • Proven leadership skills, such as aligning complex technical decisions across teams, mentoring, coordinating cross-functional relationships with non-technical stakeholders, managing expectations, and navigating competing priorities
  • Highly detailed oriented with an emphasis on reducing and catching errors
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively advocate technical solutions to scientists, engineers, and product audiences
  • Self-motivated, growth-oriented, and driven to pursue excellence across teams

CNN is looking for a SVP Data Analytics, Science & Insights . This role will lead the Data Intelligence teams within CNN for all platforms including digital, streaming, and product surfaces . This team is the key stakeholder for our data platforms, and leads data insights and science. Ideally, this person is passionate about media, has exceptional analytical skills and thrives in working in a dynamic, fast paced environment. This person is an excellent storyteller, adept at translating data and analytics to a broader group of stakeholders.
This position will be charged with growing and leading a team of talented data scientists, data analytics and research experts to deliver meaningful insights and recommendations across CNN’s digital portfolio of businesses .

This position will work closely with cross-functional teams within the CNN domestic organization as well as across the CNN Worldwide organization . This role will be accountable to multiple stakeholder groups in providing best-in-class data reporting and analytics in the service of answering business-generated questions and challenges.


Your Role Accountabilities…

  • Lead global data science, analytics and research teams for CNN Digital Worldwide.
  • Advance CNN’s capabilities in subscription analytics: Attribution and MMM modeling for Subscriber Sign-ups, Propensity to Convert, At-risk/Churn analysis and cohorting, and more
  • Measure, analyze and synthesize data across multiple sources (1st party, 3rd party) to deliver program insights, product strategies and industry trends to the business.
  • Partner with advertising, finance and Strategy on key drivers and metrics on advertising business
  • Partner with WBD Data Engineering team, to determine which data sets are needed and make available to the data team and other stakeholders, and supports everything from measurement to data products and science to analytics and insights.
  • Promote the advancement of a data-driven culture across the organization.
  • Serve as a key advisor to the CNN leadership team as the functional expert in research and data science principles.
  • Manage experimentation frameworks in close collaboration with functional stakeholders including Marketing, Product, and Design.
  • Leads data analysis on how our audiences engage with our products, developing insights to support business decision-making
  • Conceptualize, build, and manage the evaluative and predictive models for CNN Digital’s surfaces, services, and products.
  • Help to develop and manage the on-going iteration and use of driver-based forecasting models in partnership with Strategy, Finance, and Marketing teams.
  • Provide decision support service for the CNN digital product leadership and their teams in support of growth opportunities.
  • Partner effectively with CNNWW and WBD Research teams on an on-going basis to ensure a cohesive and aligned workflow that leverages all necessary consumer insights to further growth.
  • Partner with stakeholders across CNN to collect KPI requirements, and then design and build KPI measurement frameworks


Qualifications & Experience…


  • Leadership
    : You have 15+ of relevant experience in advanced analytics with previous experience in media or technology leading analytics and data science based teams creating data that drives business impact. 5+ years of experience in a subscription focused business with a content-forward offering is a plus. Previous experience in a leadership position overseeing teams comprised of data scientists and analysts and/or data analytics experts strongly preferred. The person will have had experience building and managing a high performing, multifunctional team.

    . You have sophisticated knowledge of the digital advertising and streaming business models and market.
