Job Description:
Data Scientist (Remote)
Job Summary:
The Business Intelligence and Analytics team is looking for a curious and eager data scientist to join their team and provide statistical and mathematical support to analyze and interpret a wide range of data to provide customer solutions. Will work with various stakeholders to present and operationalize data to achieve actionable insights to drive customer strategy and decisions. Will apply intermediate-level analytic capabilities to solve complex business problems from a combination of unstructured, semi-structured, and structured data.
What you will do:

Develop, test, and deploy data science models using statistics, machine learning and other analytic approaches to answer operational and strategic questions
-
Evaluate models to determine the validity of analysis, implement evaluated models into production, periodically re-evaluate and refine models being used in production
-
Optimize model training, performance, and accuracy
-
Administer data science software to control user access and installed packages and languages
-
Research data science techniques in the literature and stay up to date on the latest industry trends
What we need from you:
-
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience within related field and 1-3 years of related experience
-
Experience in performing data science using statistics, ML, and other approaches
-
Proficient in R, Python, or other programming languages
-
Must demonstrate good oral and written communication skills, along with good interpersonal skills and an ability to work cooperatively and effectively as a team member

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:

Experience working on an Agile Team

Experience in SQL
-
Experience with dynamic scaling / auto scaling when training models

Experience in administering, supporting, and troubleshooting Linux server environment and related software

Experience with peer-programming

Salary Range:
$79,100.00 – $138,400.00
