Job purpose
The Consultant will provide professional consulting and analytical services to support the implementation and upgrade of Periscope product solutions for clients. This role includes exploration of the client’s business needs and mapping them to eProcurement solutions. The position will provide high-quality professional services to enable the highest quality business solution(s) for clients. You will work closely with new clients to effective implement their contracted solutions. Periscope is looking for a self-starter who is hungry to learn and expand their skill set.
Duties and responsibilities
– Develops robust knowledge of product functionality and potential usage/configuration solutions for clients.
– Performs process-focused analysis of client procurement/purchasing processes and develops appropriate software functional design recommendations to be used in design sessions with client.
– Prepares client facing documents containing requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations.
– Delivers training and orientation on product to clients.
– Defines test scenarios and cases.
– Develops accurate and complete test plans.
– Conducts and supports client testing according to plan.
– Identifies, researches and documents system deficiencies and recommends solutions, coordinating with other areas of the company as needed.
– Provides go-live support.
– Adherence to project deadlines and schedules.
– Takes input from Project Manager or supervisor and appropriately and accurately applies comments/feedback.
– Understands the necessity of project standards and applies them consistently.
– Prioritizes multiple tasks effectively.
– Understands technical design specifications.
– Understands the components of running a successful project.
– Travel required once restrictions are lifted
– Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred.
– High attention to detail, action oriented, ability to work within stringent timelines and to collaborate across departments to achieve results.
– Strategic thinking and analytical skills required, in addition to strong written, oral, and presentation skills.
– Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
