As a Business Analytics Consultant Senior within PNC’s Finance organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA.
This is a hybrid position which provides flexibility to work both in the office and remotely and is based in Pittsburgh, PA. Certain job responsibilities may require time in the office on a regular basis.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Leads financial analysis, conducts research and prepares forecasts and reports. Performs due diligence and statistical analysis related to the Balance Sheet and Income Statement. Advanced Excel skills required.
- Based on own discretion, researches and collects information for PNC’s Balance Sheet and Income Statement.
- Analyzes and processes data, building and maintaining models and report templates, and developing dynamic, data-driven solutions.
- Prepares, reviews and presents risk analytics/stress testing material including documentation and templates to senior team members for federal submission.
- Prepares and aggregates data for modeling activities. Reconciles and performs quality review of data.
- Provides business clients with detailed, actionable reports documenting the findings from data processing, and data analysis.
Additional qualifications desired but not required:
- Knowledge of internal controls over financial reporting.
- Familiarity with SQL database and Oracle Hyperion.

Leverages complex analytical tools to provide business and technical expertise for the analytics process, tools and useful applications across multiple functions or business units to create data driven solutions.
Consulting to clients on tool and strategy implementation and monitoring, statistical scoring, business intelligence, data quality, and analytical product / solution development.
Determining the optimal analytic approach and supporting development, implementation and enhancements.
Conceptualizing, developing and continuously optimizing analytical solution for operations and executive management to enable data driven decision making.
Analyze results and make recommendations for key business partners and senior management or communicate conclusions from complex analytical solutions to a wide range of audiences.

Work Experience
Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience. Certifications are often desired. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
