As an MBA Intern – Strategy & Data Analytics, you will play a key role in PODS’ digital transformation by gathering and analyzing the data around PODS’ digital products and the behavior of our customers throughout their moving journey, all while working alongside senior leaders, cross-functional teams, disruptive external companies, external partners, innovation centers, venture groups, and universities.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Consolidate critical data into weekly reports, along with analysis and progress against hypotheses and relevant KPIs.
- Assist divisional leadership in establishing and managing a data-driven disciplined process for new product development, test & learns, and long-term customer-focused value creation.
- Regularly translate data into strategic analyses, both written and verbal.
- Fulfill ad hoc data requests for the digital transformation team and be the point of contact within the digital transformation team for any data-related questions.
- Champion data accuracy and consistency across the entire digital transformation team and in partnership with cross-functional data reporting.
- Be the central source of data approval for the digital transformation team for presentations.
- Work with cross-functional BI teams to create custom and automated data reporting tools and define clear SOPs for data management and reporting.
- Develop a strategy and process for tracking customers throughout their moving journey with PODS, the different services/products they did/did not consume and at what times.
- Develop a decision tree for PODS customers and prospects on their moving journey.
Job Requirements
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance, or a related field; or equivalent education/experience
- Current MBA or Graduate student, a data focus preferred
- High-level mathematical skills
- Analytical skills: ability to develop fact-based recommendations resulting from in-depth data analysis
- Communication skills: a collaborative team player with an entrepreneurial spirit and can-do attitude
- Proficiency in Microsoft Access and Excel.
- BI and/or Tableau experience preferred.
- Must be onsite in Clearwater, FL office 20-30 hours, flexible days
