Position Overview:
Pratt & Whitney is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join the Digital Technology Quality team. The Business / Functional Analyst within Quality Systems will lead and participate in strategic enterprise initiatives including the design, implementation, and support of Pratt & Whitney Quality Management Systems (QMS). This person will engage directly with the Quality organization to understand customer requirements, identify, and develop solutions that meet or exceed customers’ expectations. The individual will leverage a strong technical background to troubleshoot complex issues and make recommendations for strategic changes to our landscape to improve the reliability and accuracy of existing solutions. This position will require collaboration with a cross functional DT team to develop and execute DT solutions and collaboration with 3rd party software and outsourcing partners.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited, to:
- You will lead and support projects using waterfall or agile methodologies.
- Work in cross functional teams to provide seamless integration between Quality Management Systems and other enterprise applications.
- Work with business stakeholders and other functional areas to define process enhancements for Quality Systems that streamline business processes.
- You will manage 3rd party suppliers to deliver high performing Quality Management Systems.
- Manage project deliverables to defined schedules and budgets to ensure project deliverables are achieved within project schedule and budget.
- Your ability to interact with enterprise teams, business partners, senior management, and build Relationships.
- Ability to clearly understand business processes and requirements and translate these requirements into specification documents that result in solutions that meets or exceed the defined business requirements.
- The ability to perform technical and functional problem solving.
- Lead continuous improvement activities to improve application performance, quality, and reliability.
- You will ensure production applications meet agreed upon service level expectations.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline and 8 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years’ experience.
- 5 plus years’ experience in managing and delivering IT projects in large multinational organizations.
- 5 plus years’ experience with managing Quality Applications in a manufacturing environment.
- US Citizenship required due to government contracts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of the SAP Quality Management module. SAP S4 experience is a plus.
- SAP Configuration experience with the Quality Management module.
- An overall understanding of SAP systems that interface with Quality such as Material Master, Production Planning and Execution and Solumina (Manufacturing Execution System).
- Strong technical experience working in a complex SAP landscape.
- Prior experience as an ABAP developer or debugging is a plus.
- Knowledge of Reliance ETQ software.
- Knowledge of Net-Inspect and InspectionXpert applications, specifically in the areas of First Articles of Inspection (FAI) and related Quality inspections.
- Problem solving and analytical abilities including the ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details and apply sound business knowledge.
The salary range for this role is 94,000 USD – 196,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
