Job Summary
Data engineer will be reporting into Data Integration and Analytics team in Operations. Our team is committed to providing highly reliable data infrastructure, developing advanced data analytic tools and automation to drive efficiency, productivity, and data uniformity in the company.
In this role you will be primarily responsible for developing and maintaining data automation pipelines to support AI/ML projects in operations team. As a data engineer you will work closely in all aspects of data such as data connect, automation of data processing pipelines, AI/ML model testing and data governance.
Roles & Responsibilities
This position has responsibility for:
- Develop data integration pipelines to enable wafer sort outlier detection tool in the company
- Support in customization of outlier detection recipes via python integration for optimization of yield loss and quality improvement
- Develop and test machine learning models to detect anomalies via wafer sort and module test data correlations
- Integrate RMA (return material authorization) data into existing Cassandra DB
- Support of users via requirements gathering, documentation, and training
- Contribute to Cassandra and Cloud competence to strengthen and improve data engineering capabilities and infrastructure

Minimum Qualifications (Experience and Skills)
- Programming experience (Python and/or Java)
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks
- Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience with Linux/Unix based operating systems
- Experience with version control software like GitHub or Subversion
- Working knowledge of at least one distributed database such as Cassandra or Hadoop
- Knowledge about BI tools such as Tibco Spotfire, Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, etc.
- Excellent verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Shell scripting is a plus
- Experience with high volume semiconductor manufacturing
Education Requirements
- BS Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering; MS preferred
